It was lunch time and I was waiting to give everyone their gift even tho we have half of the day together.

I gave topanga her gift which she loved, now it was cory and Shawn's turn I gave cory his first and his eyes lit up like how they used to when we were just learning how to walk

He hugged me really tight and kept on saying thank you, it took me and topanga to pull him off of me

"Um it's not much but I thought you'd like it" Shawn said handing me a small gift bag

I opened it and it was locket with our initials, I didn't care how much it was, it had a funny picture of us

"Shawn, you know I don't care about price? But it's really beautiful" I said giving him a hug we pulled away but he had his arm around my waist "here" I gave him his present and he opened it, I bit my lip scared on how he'll react

"No-no I can't take it here" Shawn said making me frown

"Shawn" I said softly "your the main person I wanted to get a gift for, if you don't actually want it than just give it back to me later" I said walking out of the lunch room

{Shawn's pov}

I loved y/n's gift honestly but I don't think I could take it, it must of cost a lot and my gift doesn't compare to hers but I couldn't even actually buy her anything I just had the locket for awhile but got to nervous to give it to her

My dad just got laid from his work so it's kinda hard for us right now. I decided to just keep the gift after all.

I was surprised when my parents said I can stay with y/n over break but I didn't mention her parents wouldn't be here but it's whatever

{time skip to after school}

As the bell ranged we all rushed out Mr. feeny yelled something but no one listened

"Shawn you coming?" y/n asked

"Uh yeah one second"

I waited outside for Minkus to ask how my name got on Mr. feeny's card because I didn't pay the $5 turns out it was Cory who did it.

I feel bad for going off on him the other day, I went to his house to make up.

{time skip}

We made up and was just playing basketball outside till I left tomorrow was Christmas which I wasn't that excited for it's not like I'm getting a lot of stuff anyways like Cory or y/n

I feel bad because y/n is spending Christmas alone for the first time since both of her parents are out of town. I should stop by I could warm up a bit too.

I knocked on her door and waited for her

Hurry up it's freezing

y/n opened the door with a more of a confused face than happy, she stepped to the side to let me in

"Shawn what are you doing?"
