Yns pov:

When I woke up sun and moon where still asleep, well sun was on the floor I'm guessing he fell off the bed.

I got up out of bed being careful not to stand on sun, I walked over to my wardrobe and grabbed my work shirt and some tracksuit pants (in black). I walked over to sun and knelt down, I gently shuck him "sun you need to wake up we have work." Sun sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Morning sleepy head." "☀️good morning y/n!☀️" "will you wake moon up I need to get dressed?" Sun got up "☀️yes!☀️" sun jumped onto the bed while saying moons name, I laughed and walked into the bathroom to get dressed.

I fished changing and making my self look presentable before going back into my room and putting my shoes on, sun and moon were in their rooms getting ready I'm guessing, I heard a knock at moons door and heard Ralph and him speaking, a girls voice spoke as well. What the fuck?

Moon had shut his door and ran into my room as Ralph had knocked on my door. "Moon? Is everything okay?" "🌙everything is fine, when you open the door don't freak out.🌙" I got up and walked over to the door "why would I?" I opened the door and saw Ralph and a girl, she was smaller than me and everyone else I'm guessing around 5'5, she had long brown hair, beautiful green eyes, and she was in... the daycare uniform..

"hey y/n!" I looked back to Ralph and smiled. "Hey Ralph, who's that?" I looked back to the girl trying my best not to give her a dirty look. "This is mellisa, you're new co-worker since Mia had to go back to her parents house for a while." "? Hey! ?" "Mhm hey, what's happened with Mia? Is she okay?" "She's fine y/n, her dad just got ill and her mum needed help." "Oh okay I'm glad she's okay, has Mellisa met eclipse yet?" "No not yet." I nodded my head, "I'm gonna go, moon came into my room and wanted to tell me something, I'll speak with you later?" "Okay bye y/n!" "? Byeee~. ?"

I shut the door and walked over to moon, "what the fuck." "🌙I know! That's what I said when I opened the door, it just slipped out.🌙" "I'm sure she's okay.. I hope she is." "🌙yeah I know, I really don't want another buddy situation.🌙" just then we heard a door slam shut and then one open.

Eclipse walked into my room looking confused, "🌘who the fuck is that.🌘" "melissa." "🌘I'm not doing this today, keep her away please?🌘" "it sucks to be you guys, I have the desk shift."
"☀️hey guys!☀️" sun walked into my room. "What the fuck is going on, it's like a whole family gathering." "☀️y/n language!☀️" "🌘she isn't wrong tho🌘" "🌙well I have to get going, the nursery needs setting up.🌙" "yeah I have to go to." Me and moon got up and walked out of my room, when we left moon had saw Melissa and Ralph so he put his arm around my waist and pulled me close, we got to the nursery and moon kissed me goodbye. "🌙I'll see you later starlight~🌙" "bye moon." I said while smiling and rolling my eyes as a joke. I walked over to the desk and logged in clocking everyone in except Mia.

The daycare just opened and kids came flooding in, Melissa and sun was logging who was here and who wasn't while eclipse was sat at the crafts table with some of the kids.

Some ones hand covered my eyes, and the other spun the chair to face them "🌙guess who~🌙" "hmm I dunno, is it sun?" Moon took his hand off my eyes and stood their with his arms crossed, "🌙how could you even say that🌙" "I was joking! Come here you big baby." He moved closer to me and I kissed him, "you okay?" "🌙yeah I'm fine, I'm just gonna stay with you today until nap time.🌙" I smiled and nodded my head. "That's completely fine." He got the spare chair and sat next to me, I rested my head on his shoulder and watched the kids play. Moon put his hand on my thigh and squeezed it gently. "You sure you're okay moon?" "🌙I'm fine, don't worry starlight. I'm just still shook up from the other day.🌙" "you don't have to work if you don't want to, I'll get eclipse to do nap time." "🌙no no it's okay, I wanna make sure your safe incase they come back.🌙" "that's sweet of you moon but we will be fine." He nodded his head and wrapped his arm around me.

Some random kid had ran up to us and pointed, "you look like a mum and dad! Coke play with us!" "🌙not right now kiddo, y/n is very tired so she's going to have a nap.🌙" "awh okay." The kid ran back over to his friends, "moon I'm not tired." "🌙I know but i just saved us from playing mums and dads.🌙" "that's true."

~time skip~

So far the day was going good, moon had fallen asleep while waiting for nap time, sun and eclipse was looking after the kids and playing games with them, and Melissa was.. just sat there doing her makeup.

I didn't like her so far but she seems okay? I mean she's not doing her job but I guess there wasn't that many kids here today.

I looked up from my phone and saw eclipse running over to me. "🌘hey pretty wake moon up it's nap time.🌘" "nap time isn't until an hour tho?" "🌘the kids are having a longer one since sun has been running around all day with them.🌘" "oh right, yeah I'll wake him up now go get sun and the kids" eclipse nodded his head and ran back over to sun and the kids.

I gently shook moon, "moon it's nap time, you need to wake up." "🌙it's nap time already.?🌙" "yeah it's been extended by an hour so it's two hours now." "🌙mhm.. I'll go get it ready.🌙" moon got up and walked into the nursery, I got up from my chair and walked over to sun and eclipse to help them get the kids to the nursery.

"☀️come on kids it's nap time!☀️" I looked at sun who looked exhausted, "kids listen to sun, go over to the nursery!" The kids walked over to the nursery, some of them sighed while some ran over. "☀️thanks sunshine ☀️" "no problem sun, you looked tired so I thought I'd help you." "🌘yeah no thanks to Melissa not helping us.🌘" we walked into the nursery where moon and Melissa where sat down, moon had moved away from her quite a lot.

I sat down next to moon where sun laid down and rested his head on my thighs, "🌙is sun okay?🌙" I looked down to sun and smiled while playing with his hair, "yeah he's just tired." Eclipse sat down and rested his head on my shoulder, "🌘well maybe Melissa should have done her job.🌘" "yeah I saw her just sitting there." "🌙I didn't.🌙" "you was asleep moon." I said while laughing quietly.

"🌘hey y/n?🌘" "yeah?" "🌘this morning when we was all getting ready, we was talking and.. we wanted to know if you wanted to go to the New Year's Eve party with us🌘" "yeah I'd love to go but you need to sleep." "🌘okay okay.🌘" eclipse shut his eyes and fell asleep "🌙you'll really come?🌙" "of course I will, I can't let you deal with these on your own." "🌙that's great that your coming..🌙" "is something wrong?" "🌙no don't worry sweetheart.🌙"

The day finally ended and we was all just talking and listening to music in the living room they added, "? Hey guys! ?" Melissa walked into the living room in some revealing pyjamas,"🌘erm hey.🌘" "☀️hey Melissa, how was the first day?☀️" "? Ugh, erm it was good sun. ?" She said while walking over to the couch moon and eclipse was sat on.

I was sat with sunny, I had my headphones on so I didn't even notice her come in, sun gently tapped my arm and I looked up to him "☀️can I listen to music with you?☀️" "of course." I took one of them out and gave it to sun. He wrapped his arms around me and we watched TikToks together before falling asleep on the sofa.

Moons pov:

Melissa wouldn't shut the fuck up, normally I can handle people when they speak for ages but her voice is so annoying and she always makes this noise when she speaks it's like she's clicking her mouth. I was to tired for this so I got up. "? Where you going? ?" "🌙to bed, imma take y/n with me when you go eclipse wake sun up and tell him to go to his bed.🌙" "🌘will do, goodnight.🌘" "🌙goodnight.🌙" "? Goodnight! ?" I walked over to y/n and picked her up carefully before walking down to my room.

I opened the door and shut it quietly before setting y/n on my bed and laying down next to her while pulling the blanket over us, she moved up to me and wrapped her arms around me. I looked down to her and smiled before hugging her and falling asleep
