ROSEMARY is most commonly known as a delicious culinary herb, though it is also a stunning addition to protection spells and rituals. It is often said that rosemary is capable of removing feelings of anxiety, as well as cleansing the auric field if it has been exposed to chaotic or dense energy. Placing bundles of the herb under your pillow may ward off nightmares and the like, while rubbing rosemary oil on areas such as your wrists and temples may keep your energy clear before bed or events.

NIKOLA KABEL liked to consider himself a patient man. A very, incredibly patient man - a man that totally did not harass Aluxio University's admissions office for information regarding his fellow 'Witch Exchange Program' peers. He did, in fact, harass the poor vampiric woman at the desk about the other witches, but it was only because they were approximately three and a quarter hours late in arrival thus far. Not at all because he was far too excited to meet those of similar caliber to himself.

His spirit was mildly crushed by that woman, though. Only two witches were admitted into the program. Two! Disgusting! The lady had attempted to reason with him after he had jumped to conclusions, beginning a rant on species discrimination. He was told that it was merely because witches are increasingly rare, and not because witches were frowned upon by monsterkind. Utter blasphemy, he had shouted, gloved hands twitching with annoyance.

They must simply be scared, he reasoned with himself, sullied lab coat fluttering with every thundering step forward. Witches are rare, yes - and so perhaps they are fearful of how powerful they are! Yes, that, must be it! Clapping, Nikola pranced toward the front gates of the campus, a newfound spring in his step. He hadn't found another witch when he ran through campus earlier (scaring nearly all other students with his frenzied state), ultimately meaning that the other was bound to make an appearance at any given moment.

Nikola Kabel is a patient man, and he will wait at the towering, blackened metal gates of Aluxio University until his fellow witch arrives - even if he fidgets out of boredom the entire time, and even if he'd much rather be mixing magic-infused chemicals that should most definitely not be mixed.

Evreux was quite good at causing you to worry.

Soon after opening Aluxio's admittance letter, he congratulated you with a shaky smile and wringing hands before quickly disappearing from sight. You had initially shrugged it off, as he had done similar things before, and Grannie was due to return soon anyway. She did, in fact, appear shortly after - to which you greeted her with an anxious smile of your own. It didn't take much prodding before you showed her the letter, and, surprisingly, she was far from shocked.

"Ah, they finally made a program, huh? Took 'em long enough!"

"Grannie ...? What do you mean?"

"You're not the only witch I've ever known, munchkin."

        "E-Eh?!"

She hadn't left you with much else but wrinkled hands pushing the curve of your back, leading you to your room and handing you multiple suitcases you hadn't even known were in the house. Hurry, hurry, she kept sputtering, even though you had been attempting to bombard her with questions. You hadn't been told of any other witches before, and why would Grannie keep something like that from you? It irked you, filling your chest with the murky gray of anxiety as you attempted to pack all that the University had told you to. Her knowing another witch would explain how she was able to assist you in learning more about magic, you reasoned - it also would make her not being opposed to raising you more reasonable as well. Even still, your heart had begun to ache and sting. Grannie had been nothing but kind to you, and yet you couldn't help but feel as though you had been lied to your whole life.
