Girls' fight

"Tara", Gao Zhan called as he saw her but she took long steps and hurriedly left before he could say more. He went inside and saw Esha and Bok So, both looked confused.

"What happened to her?", he asked them.

"No idea", the two said in union.

"She never behaves like this", Esha continued.

"With whom did she talk over phone?", Gao Zhan queried.

Getting up, Esha said, "I will dine with you guys later. I better look into her", and left.

Esha reached the dorm only to see Tara had already slept. Dried tear marks on her face, her lips looked red as if she had bitten them to sleep. Esha caressed her best friend's head, moving her fingers through her hair to relieve the stress. Tara's expressions soon started changing with the massage. Seeing her relaxed, Esha messaged Gao Zhan and went to sleep.

Esha woke up the next day on see the most unbelievable thing she had seen since her college had started. Tara had woken up before her!!

 "Tara how did you wake up so fast?", she asked, moving the net aside.  Tara removed her headphones and said with her usual smile, "This drama is too good. It is about Grim reapers. So cool nah?"

Esha smiled and said, "I will also join you if it is so good. Now let me wash myself first" and went to the washroom. Esha had realised a thing- Tara usually ignored any conversation about her parents or home. She always had small talks with her parents and made excuses to hung up as soon as possible. Her smile suddenly felt empty today. Esha immediately messaged Gao Zhan about her observation.

The two girls got ready and left for their college as usual. On the way, Bok So whispered to Esha, "What happened to her last night?"

"Nothing much. She just missed her home", Esha replied, careful not to let her bestie's secret pain out.

Esha was busy in completing some notes in the classroom when Erica approached her.

"Hi. I am Erica. I saw you are Bok So's friend so I think you are reliable. As maam already said, I am new here, so I needed your notes. Can I get them?", she said. Her tone indicating domination.

"Later on. I am busy now", Esha replied, hurrying to finish off her work.

"What's so busy? Can't you be a little helpful? This is the problem of mediocre girls like you", she snapped.

"Are you deaf?", Tara interfered.

"Excuse me", said a shocked Erica.

"I am asking whether you are deaf. Can't you hear that she told she is busy? Can you be a little more understanding? This is the problems with girls like you. Narcissist- this is what girls like you are called, if you don't know", Tara replied. Her smiled constant on her face.

"Are you putting up a fight with me?" questioned Erica. Her anger was evident on her face.

"Calm down Tara", Esha whispered to Tara but Tara was in no mood to listen.

"No baby doll. I am not as jobless as you who is busy wasting time in flirting with boys and disturbing others who are actually hardworking", Tara said, her expressions turning bitter as the images of Erica trying to get close to Gao Zhan last night came to her mind.

A smile crept up to Esha's face. She was loving seeing Erica getting bashed by her roomie.

"You are messing with the wrong girl", Erica warned.

"You have already messed with the wrong girl. And if the notes are so important, go and ask help from others. We did not tell you to enter the college so late so you are not our responsibility", Tara snapped and walked away like a queen.

"I told you not to disturb me", Esha said, faking a sympathetic face and walked away, taking her notes with her.

Bok So and Gao Zhan stood at the corner of the room, seeing the girls' fight. They were afraid as well as confused. Silently the two boys walked away.
