~Cordelia~
You'll never be good enough
No other man will love you the way I do
Your only strong because you have me
You'd be dead without me
I saved you
They don't want you
They don't need you
As if they'd take you back
You're useless

"Are you listening My little new born~" Caius whispered in my ear, breaking me from my intrusive thoughts. His hot breath causing undesirable chills down my spine.

With a soft swallow I turn to look and him and nod softly, a tight smile on my face. He looks at me with his piercing red eyes and I turn away with an unsettling feeling deep down in my stomach.

I focus back on Aro; my leader, as he explains the upcoming issues in the supernatural world.

"The Cullens have been experiencing some complications with other vampires in their territory, I believe we must interfere. Not to assist but to discern how the situation is effecting their institution," Aro explained slowly making eye contact with me.

Something about his stare made me feel as if he knew something I didn't.

"Jane and Cordelia, only the two of you shall accompany me on this errand," authority laced in his voice. I tense hearing my name.

My gaze drops to the floor, images flowing through my head of my friends, my pack, my brother. They abandoned me; the argument with Sam still fresh in my head as if it was recent.

The day he told me I was a disgrace to the tribe for catching me talking to a Cullen in school. The day everything was taken away from me.

I felt an icy cold hand rest on my thigh, causing me to feel even more uneasy. Looking up from the grounds I slightly shake my head, trying to snap out of my thoughts; directing my attention back on Aro, who was already staring right back at me.

Again his hard stare caused an unsettling feeling in me, like he knows something. Not able to keep the gaze my eyes fall back down to my lap; to the pale hand resting on my thigh. Veins pulsing through his hands and up his arms.

"We are done here. Dismissed." Aro says in a hard voice, almost unpleased.

As everyone got up to leave, so did I. Caius followed close behind, his hand resting on my lower back. A little uncomfortably low for my liking. He leads me to an empty hallway and my heartbeat quickens; at least that's what it feels like.

His grip tightened on me. I tense knowing he's not pleased with me; he never is.

"You disobeyed me last night, didn't you my little newborn?" He asked lowly.

Scared for what he may do next I slowly nod my head. He moves to stand in front of me, face to face; his hand still gripping my back.

"And what were you doing?" He takes a step closer causing me to take one back; trying to create distance. Caius just pulls me back to him.

I gulp.

"Do not make me ask again," he huskily whispered leaning in closer to my face, our lips just inches apart. "What. Were. You. Doing?"

"I was in the garden.." I muttered that softly; I wasn't even sure I said it. I refused to make eye contact with him, not willing enough to see the disappointment in his eyes.

"Why were you in the garden?." His free hand gripped my chin, tilting head upwards forcing me to look at him. A low grin spreading onto his face.

"I was, I- I was," I stutter not able to find the words.
