~Chapter Five~

Travis' POV:

The next morning I wake up excited. Is it official? Are Crystal and I a couple? Or is it just gonna be a rumour that we kissed? I do my daily routine and head to school, I'm glad Crystal's locker is next to mine keeps up closer every time we grab books! But we are only in literacy and chemistry class together! Dam this school for having bad class preparation with students!

I close my locker to find Lucy standing right in front of me. "Oh- hey Lucy" she smiles. "Hey wonder boy, how was your sleep? Were you dreaming about me?" She flutters her eyelashes. "It was good and sorry no, I dreamt about something else" I feel sorry for her, she's trying to be attractive but I'm Into someone else. "Are you busy after school?" She asks. "Umm- excuse me, Lucy- could you ah" she turns around- Crystal finally! "Could I what!" She snaps at her. "Your in front of my locker" Crystal slowly says, is Lucy that scary? "Oh, whatever" she steps closer to me. She sees me looking at Crystal. "Why are you Looking at- creep girl!" She snaps her fingers making me blink. "Oh you mean- Princess" I laugh trying to act like I hate her. "Not that again!" Crystal shuts her locker in furry. "Yeh that's right- Princess why don't you go back to your castle so you can put your crown on!" I hope she knows that I'm acting- I really love her, I don't want her to hate me again! She walks away. "Ooh, you're good and bad- I really like you!" Lucy smiles like she's about to kiss me... "Gotta go bye" I speed walk after Crystal but she walks into her class and the bell goes I can't be late! I talk to her at lunch then.

Crystal's POV:

I can't believe after yesterday Travis is Mr Annoying Bully Head again! During class i keep thinking about yesterday, was it a dare? Did he fake to like me? Has Lucy put a spell on him? I think to myself not paying attention to my teacher.

*bell* I walk out if class to my locker putting my books back. "Crystal! I heard about yesterday! Was it cool?" Nicolette skips up to me- as always. "What are you talking about?" I ask. "Everyone knows!" She adds. "Knows what?" Did she find out that Travis and I kissed? "That a bear chased you and Travis at the beach!" She jumps. "Ohh! Yeh it was freaky!" I say. "Hey- why were you two together at the beach?" She asks. Umm, what do I say? "Oh we bumped into each other saying hi, then we saw a bear" that'll cover up what really happened. "Oh" we walk to the cafeteria and sit at our usual table. "Was it fast?" She continues asking about the bear chase. "Yeh" I say taking a bit into my lunch. "Was it big?" She asks again. "Yep" I say. "We're you screaming?" It's like she's interviewing me! "No!" I sip water from my bottle. "Did it chase you two into the woods?" It's getting annoying! "Yes" I answer. "Wee you two stuck there for a while, like lost?" I love her but I want her to shut up! "Yeh" I stare out the window wishing that shed some how loose her voice. "What did you two do? Yell at each other? Beat up each other? Kiss? Hug? What!" Oh god! "W-" I get stopped. "Hey" Travis sits next to me. "Travis, hey" Nicolette smiles. "What!" I don't look at him. "About before..." I chime in. "I don't wanna hear it! I guess I'm still your name calling victim!" I'm still not looking at him! "No! I was acting, so Lucy didn't suspect anything! She saw me looking your way" he whispers the last part to me. "Is that true?" I finally look at him. "Yes, Crystal I would never say that about you the day after-" he stops when he sees Nicolette looking at him. "What happened between you two yesterday?" She raises an eyebrow. "Nothing, why would you ask that?" I take another sip out of my water. "Well then continue Travis- what were you gonna say continue from the word- after" she is acting like a mystery solver. "After we- just stopped fighting and agreed to be friends again!" he decides to go with that. Good choice Travis. "Oh, finally now you two won't fight anymore!" She smiles in relief. "Yeh" I nod.
