Authors note: Hey ya'll, this is just me being indecisive as fuck again, and rewriting a chapter. I'm so sorry to people who have been here since the beginning :(. And I put the authors note at the start because of that.
Timeskip to ten years later, the beginning of a new school year. Summer starts to blend into Autumn, the days becoming shorter and colder. People gather around the school campus, like excited puppies, greeting their friends after a long couple of months off of school. They swarm around them, some tearing up, asking about their whereabouts during the summer. As you already know, since this is the third time being reintroduced (once in the actual spy x family manga, or anime and twice in this fanfiction,) the story centers around Anya Forger, but now older this time.
In her academics, she's improved tremendously. She managed to earn the ranking of an Imperial Scholar, mostly from helping others. She's looked up to a lot by her peers and congratulated by her teachers, especially since she used to be such a troublemaker when she was younger. She's grown to be a quite fair young lady, with salmon pink hair, and locks that reach down to her waist, and her beauty appeals to many people her age.
As for Damian, he's also managed to obtain the ranking of an Imperial Scholar, but only because of his zeal towards his fathers approval. He was very popular among the girls, for his good looks and tall stature. He didn't make much improvement in gaining the affection of his father over the years, but every time he made an attempt to, his father just distanced further and further away from him. Though he envied others from the affection they got from their parents.
Now with all that out of the way, we move onto what's currently going on. Right now, they are in their history class, taught by Professor Henderson. As the class carried on, Damian kept taking quick glances at Anya.
Her hair looks cute today. Wait, what I'm I thinking? No, I'll never fall for that stupid uggo. He thought. Her hair was tied into two ponytails.
Anya looked towards the back of the classroom with a blank expression on her face, perplexed.
As lunch time approached, she sat with her friend, Becky instead of the Imperial Scholar place. Why, you might ask? Well for one, she simply wanted to sit with her friend. And the second reason was because the last time she went there the people were really rude, and said that "a commoner like her didn't belong there.
As she sat down at the table, Becky's eyes scaled bigger.
"Hey Anya, long time no see! How was your break?" She asked.
"Oh, nothing much," Anya responded. "Oh wow, your hair is kind of different today. It's almost as if we switched hairstyles; like when you used to have two ponytails and now I have that, and I usually have my hair out at school and now you do."
"Yeah, true." Becky said.
"I didn't really do much either, other than watch Berlint in Love..." Anya read her mind and saw that she actually did a lot of things, and very expensive things at that. She became shocked seeing the many things she takes for granted.
"Oh yeah, in Berlint in Love they finally got together! Becky said. "I'm so bummed, I wanted to see more. Now I'm just gonna be depressed until I find a new romance show."
"Come to think of it, Bondman is also ending too. I loved it when I was younger, and I still love it now," she replied.
As they were talking, she overheard Damian's conversation in the background.
"My dad's coming to the Imperial Scholar Mixer this time." He said, beaming.
Finally, a chance for my father to notice me! He thought.
