I wake up when it's dark.
My mind is foggy, and I don't remember much.
Just a van, and some guys. I'm strapped to a chair.
Then I killed them
I killed them...
I grimace, feeling the regret bubbling in my stomach. A headache claws at my mind, and my throat is sore.
Get food. Kill more. I require blood.
The Hyde..
Its voice echos in my mind. Only I can hear it.
A branch cracks in the distance, and the Hyde grows, throwing itself out of my mind. It takes over my body, I'm unable to stop it.
It runs through the forest, following the scent of whatever's there. I'm terrified. What if it's a person? What if it's someone I know? What if it's...her?
I imagine her dark eyes, without the sparkle. Her dark hair, sprawled across the forest floor. Her once pink lips now pale, like her cheeks. A sob stops at my throat as a swallow it down, trying to forget about her.
The Hyde leaps, and lands on something small and soft. A deer struggles beneath its claws. It quickly snaps it's neck and eats it, as I grimaced at the sight. I feel myself slowly shifting back, and I collapse. My vision blurring again, and darkness closing my eyes.
