I had gone home because I told Recovery Girl that I wasn't feeling well. All I really wanted to do was go home, lay in bed, and sleep. Locking the door, I went over to the Feel Better Cabinet and grabbed a hand full of candy.
After that, I also grabbed a tub of ice cream, just vanilla. Then I headed to my room, plopping on the bed and setting my goodies down on the nightstand. Before I could even think of popping some candy goodness into my mouth, I fell asleep.
I had even taken a nap, why was I so tired?!
~
I have no idea how long I slept, but I would have slept longer if someone hadn't started obnoxiously knocking on my door. I could just tell it was Bakugo by the angry yelling. Sighing, I got up, wrapped my blanket around me and went to open the door. "What do you want?" I asked in annoyance as I opened the door. Bakugo and Todoroki were standing on the porch, and both looked surprised at my depressed appearance.
"What the hell happened to you?" Bakugo demanded, crossing his arms. "You left before the festival was over."
"Yeah, I did." I gave him an unamused look. "Didn't wanna see you guys fighting," I told them. At first, they raised an eyebrow, then tictac coughed as Bakugo cleared his throat.
"Well, I won, obviously. This prick held back," the Pomeranian glared viciously at the duo haired male before sighing. "But whatever, I have plenty of chances to kick his ass so I can wait."
"Uh, okay then. That's certainly the spirit," I chuckled, glancing back inside again. It was kinda cold out.
"Where is your dad, by the way?" Todoroki asked, looking behind me.
"Business trip." I answered, which was kind of the truth but kinda not...
"Maybe you'd like some company?"
"What I want right now is to sleep." I stated firmly. Todoroki sighed and nodded, about to turn around and leave. However, Bakugo suddenly shoved past me, causing my eyes to widen. "What are you doing?!"
"Coming in. Geez, you're acting like I'm violating you." Bakugo rolled his eyes, then looked around. "Come on IcyHot, get in here. Shut the door, none of us want to catch a cold right now." The duo haired male did as told, coming in and closing the door.
"Hey, wait, hold on a second-"
"No." Bakugo said, turning back to face me. The look in his eyes startled me enough to shut me up. "I don't feel like leaving you alone, so like it or not you're stuck with me. And icyhot."
"Sorry for the intrusion, Kosuke," Todoroki nodded to me, looking as emotionless as always even if he was trying to be apologetic. I sighed, running a hand through my hair.
"It's fine, I guess I wouldn't mind a sleep over."
"Obviously," Bakugo rolled his eyes, grabbing my arm. "Where's your room?"
"It would be much more, uh," I tried to find the right word, the first word coming to mind being comfortable and that most certainly was not right. "... Practical for all of us to be in the living room together, right?" I suggested, since my bed was nowhere near large enough for all of us. "I have some futons in the closet, gimme a sec."
"Sure," Todoroki nodded as Bakugo huffed, making his way to the couch and plopping down on it. Jogging over to said closet, I grabbed three futons and hauled them over to the two other boys. Once I had disgarded them on the floor, I returned for some blankets.
When I came back from that, Todoroki and Bakugo were spreading out the futons, making me smile a bit. "Here's some blankets," I said, throwing them at the two. Tictac caught his while Bakugo got drenched in his. I snorted, darting back towards the closet for spare pillows.
"Thanks," Todoroki mumbled as he accepted his, and of course I hit Bakugo with the one I was giving to him.
"YOU'RE GONNA GET IT SILVER!! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE OF YOU THINK YOU'RE ALL THAT!"
"NO QUIRKS IN THE HOUSE!!"
~
It was dark when I woke up, yawning. How long had I slept? Deciding to question it later, I stood up and rewrapped the blanket around myself before venturing towards the kitchen.
"Kosuke?" I heard a groggy voice behind me, causing several hairs on my neck to stand up as I jolted.
"Y-yeah?" I swiveled to face him, and Bakugo rubbed his eye.
"What are you doing?"
"I require sustenance to survive, sir."
"Of course you do," he sighed, seemingly awake as he stood and stretched. "Give me a sec, I'll whip something up," he grumbled, passing me on his way to do just that.
Somehow, we didn't wake Todoroki even as we ended up turning on the light in the dining room. And I'll just say this: Bakugo is one hell of a chef and I am so glad I get free food from him.
After we ate, I face planted in my futons again as Bakugo snorted, and I will once again say I am astonished that Todoroki didn't wake up from the racket we were making.
Maybe he was worse than me. Meh, too many thoughts, I thought as I closed my eyes.
The Akaguro household stood dark and silent, three figures in a deep sleep inside it's walls.
