A group of four children in white clothing approached metal bars as a small person with orange hair grabs onto them.
"What... is this?"
A second voice spoke up, "It's a gate. It connects the inside and outside."
"Outside, huh? We've never been outside." The orange haired girl responded. A soft hum could be heard from the back of the group.
"That's because we've been here ever since we were born." A third voice told her.
The girl spoke up again, "Mom always tells us, doesn't she? 'Don't go near the gate or fence in the back of the forest because it's dangerous.'"
Finally, a softer voice than the rest of them spoke, "But is that really true?"
Everybody looked at the tallest and oldest of the four of them. Y/n. He had h/c locks and beautiful e/c eyes.
The orange haired girl was Emma, she obviously had orange hair but she also had emerald green eyes.
Norman is the name of the third voice, he had Snow White hair and vibrant blue eyes like the ocean.
Finally, there's Ray. He has pitch black hair that covers half of his face and dark gray eyes.
"That's obviously a lie." Ray responded to both Emma and Y/n.
Emma paused for a second while looking at Ray before staring back into the darkness of the tunnel, "really?" Emma looked over at y/n then at Ray and finally letting go of the bars, "What do you want to do if you go outside?"
"I don't know. What about you?"
"I want to ride a giraffe!" Emma instantly replied with a ton of enthusiasm.
The h/c haired male chuckled at this while putting a hand over his mouth to hide it.
"Good luck." Ray responded as he turned his back to face away from the gate, making the oldest also turn around, as he was clinging onto ray's arm.
The soft voice of Norman then spoke as he a bar, "I wonder... I wonder what this gate is protecting us from." All four of the children the turned around to analyze the tunnel.
"Hey, y/n... What do you want to do when you leave." Emma questioned.
"Well... I want to...."
