The Suspects

It is 1988 sri lanka. Government and communist insurgency group called jvp fighting take control of the country.

Fade In:
INT. UNIVERSITY CAFETERIA - DAY
We see a group of young university students sitting at a table, laughing and chatting. One of them, a bright-eyed student named KAMAL, stands up and addresses the group.

KAMAL: (excited) Guys, I just heard about this group called the JVP. They're fighting for the rights of the poor and working class. I think we should join them.
The group nods in agreement, and Kamal leads them out of the cafeteria.

Cut to:
INT. JVP HEADQUARTERS - DAY
Kamal and the other students sit around a table with the leader of the JVP, a charismatic man named

Wijewira: (passionate) The government is corrupt and only cares about the wealthy elite. It's time for the people to take control and bring about real change.
The students nod in agreement, and Wijewira outlines their plan to overthrow the government.

Cut to:
INT. GOVERNMENT BUILDING - DAY
We see the government officials, including PRESIDENT JAYAWARDENE, discussing the JVP insurgency with a group of foreign consultants, including an Israeli intelligence agent named YOSSI.

YOSSI: (calm) The solution is simple. Target the suspected JVP members, and for every one you kill, you'll take out an actual member.
President JAYAWARDENE nods in agreement, and Yossi leaves the room.

INT. POLICE STATION - DAY
We see a group of police officers, led by a ruthless inspector named SANGARAJA, abducting young university students and boys from lower-income families. They torture the suspects, trying to extract information about the JVP.
