«Clara Grey«
Today started out as a normal day like always. I grabbed my IPhone before heading downstairs to eat breakfast.
"Good morning Mikey." I petted my cats head and went to get cereal from the cupboard.
"Meow." He answered back and I smiled to myself.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and it started to ring.
"Hello." I said as I led it up to my ear.
"Hey Clara, can we meet up by the park?" I heard Delilah's voice from from the other end and I answered her back.
"Uh sure, why not." I could tell he was grinning in the other side.
"Okay great! See you in 20, bye." She hung up after I said bye to her.
I got up after eating and then went outside to the car and drove to the nearby park.
«Delilah Greene»
I need to tell her. To warn her. To tell her that they are coming. The Giglipu.
I wasn't always involved in this. Hey, I'm actually pretty normal. I'm just a regular fifteen year old girl. I live near the park in a cozy yellow house with my three brothers and cat. I go to school. I have black hair and blue eyes. Picture of normal right? Ditto.
Well maybe before them. When the Giglipu came everything changed. They offered me a chance to be different extraordinary.
They had said that they wanted someone not just intelligent but clever. I thought I was just the person. Until I realized what they wanted me to do. But I ignored it.
After all, do you really turn down the chance to be an assassin in front of big creatures with knives?
So I've been doing it since I was thirteen. Since the first day they offered, and I am the perfect tool.
But now I heard something. They want to kill me. I was about to leave their base to go home when I heard them. Talking. About killing. Someone. Clara Grey. And me. Their faithful student. And her friend. They were worried. Worried about us. Were we a threat?
I don't know. But I do know that I have to tell my friend. To do the thing that I have been forbidden above all to do. To tell someone about my training. Because Clara needs to know.
If we pose a threat to them, they will come to us. They will kill us. But I am a killer too. And if they try to kill us, they'll have to go through me.
I meet Clara in the park. She is wearing her baggy 'lazy day' clothing. "What's wrong," she asks me.
"We need to leave," I tell her.
"What," she says her eyes widening.
"We have to leave," I repeat. "They're coming. If we stay here, we'll be caught. If they want to kill you, they will.""I don't get it," she says. Poor Clara. She doesn't know what they are capable of. She doesn't know what I am capable of. I could easily kill everyone in this town while fighting off a small military force. My training could easily be underestimated. But that should not happen. I was (and still sort of am) their weapon. I am what they made me and they wouldn't let me be weak.
"They're going to find out I'm telling you," I say. "They want us, they want to kill the both of us."
"But who wants to kill us," Clara asks.
"The Giglipu," I tell her, "The same species that trained me.""Trained you to do what," Clara snaps, "And you said species, are they not human?"
"To kill," I snap back, "And no, they're not human."Clara's eyes widen. "So let me get this straight, they want to kill us," I nod. "And they're aliens," I nod again. "When do we leave," she asks. I grin.
"Tonight," I say. "I'll explain more on the way there. Meet me here at say, three in the morning. Pack light.">>Clara Grey>>>
She ran off in the direction of her house.
A Giglipu? What? I'm going to hell...
