Aria would let out a sigh as she watched her roommate stomp around the house, on an intense rant about what Jefferson had done today. Usually they stayed calm about it and just muttered to themselves, so Jefferson had obviously struck a nerve with whatever he had done, she would offer advice but Vanessa hadn't actually mentioned what he had done, just that he pissed her off and he was a dick. "Vanessa, I'd love to help you out here but you haven't told me what he's done wrong." She'd state, causing the grumbling one who was in the middle of taking off their jacket and tie to freeze. "EVERYTHING, HE'S DONE EVERYTHING, ARE YOU NOT LISTENING TO ME?!" They'd scream and Aria would narrow her eyes as Vanessa realized what they had just done. "W-Wait, I'm sorry for yelling- please forgive me!" They'd apologize quickly and Aria would just sigh. "It's fine, now calmly tell me what he did, and I can offer you advice, OR you can keep storming around rambling and I can't offer you any help."

Vanessa would storm into her room and emerge a few minutes later in a white tank-top and black shorts, Aria would let out a sigh seeing all the scars on Vanessas arms and legs but didn't comment on it. "Okay, so first he-" Vanessa would go on to somewhat angrily but mostly calmly explain the entire day to Aria, at one point they had started crying angry tears which Aria did not allow. "And that's exactly what happened." Vanessa would finish with a pout, Aria would be lying if she said that seeing the normally robot like woman, act like an angry child wasn't cute. "Well, you've dealt with him before, you can deal with him again."  She'd state and they'd let out a sigh. "I knowwwww." the normally not touchy woman would suddenly hug the taller.

They ended up cuddling-

"Nnghh, Ariaaaa, I gotta go finish a few papers." Vanessa would mumble, stopping the cuddle session. "Alright, just don't overwork yourself." Aria would smile before both went to their respective rooms. Aria blushed like an idiot and Vanny did exactly what they had said they would, finished some papers.

*next day*

Vanessa did their normal wake up early, but today was a little different. They were pitching an idea to the others. With a yawn they'd stand up and put all the papers in a pile, making sure they stayed in order before placing them in her briefcase and getting dressed for the day. after they'd gotten ready they'd make a cup of coffee, blinking a few times as the red-head emerged. "Aria, hello." They'd greet, just getting a yawn in response. "If you need me, simply text me. I'll be presenting something today and I can't risk my phone going off in the middle of it." Vanessa would state. "Kay.." Aria would sleepily mumble as Vanessa took a sip of the coffee, adjusting their tie. "I'll be back later today. Goodbye." and with that, they left.

*after work because me lazy and trash.*

Aria definitely was not expecting for Vanny to hug her and start sobbing the second they had gotten home but that's exactly what happened. "Hey, what's wrong?" She'd question, wrapping her arms around the sobbing form. "They hated it." They'd sob out. "I presented it and they hated it." They'd keep sobbing as Aria rubbed her back. "Shhh, it'll be okay." She'd whisper. "I-I spent so long on it, I put in so much effort and they didn't like it..." Vanessa would mutter, trying to calm their tears. "You'll ace whatever the next thing is, just because they didn't like this one doesn't mean they won't like anything else. You just gotta keep trying." She'd comfort, still rubbing Vannys back, allowing them to cry.

after about 15 more minutes of the smaller woman sobbing as the taller rubbed her back and said reassuring words, Vanessa had been reduced to hiccups. "T-Thanks.." They'd whisper, a slight blush forming on their cheeks out of embarrassment. "It's fine, you worked hard and it just didn't work out, you're allowed to cry for whatever reason you want." Aria would reply.

The rest of the night went on in almost silence, Vanny didn't want to say anything after showing such a weakness and Aria didn't want to disturb whatever they were doing.

*day of the next, I will never apologize. I'm lazy*

Vanessa would grumble, grabbing a random hoodie and throwing it on before doing their normal get ready routine. They didn't actually have work today but they prepared everything like they did. "Hey, Vanny, you realize your hoodie says 'Bisexual dumbass.', right?" Aria would ask, peeking her head out of the door. "Yeah, and I don't really care." They'd mutter, taking a sip of their coffee, obviously a little more tired than usual. "Kay." Aria would disappear back into her room and Vanessa would finish their coffee, mouth probably now slightly burnt.

"Ariaaaaaaaa, wanna watch a movie or something?..." They'd call out from the couch, bored and for once, not in the mood to work. "Yeah, sure. what we watching?" She'd ask, sitting down next to Vanny who just gave a shrug back. "I don't usually watch anything, I have wanted to watch Heathers for a while though.." They'd reply and Aria would smile. "So let's watch Heathers."

They cuddled and watched Heathers, I don't know what else to put here.
