I was sitting quietly as the carriage was moving. *I can't believe that I'm meeting my biological family......will they like me? * I thought as I lifted my head up and saw trees moving. Sighing, I started picking at my fingertips. I had to stop doing that since i would always pick too hard and blood come out.
Looking down in my lap, a beautiful and rare gemstone bracelet laid in my lap, that my one and only friend gave it to me. It's rare because it can heal the injured or the verge of death. I placed it on my left wrist.
*Neigh!!* The horses neigh as we stopped. I looked outside the window and saw a beautiful mansion. I see a group of people waiting for me. *Is this my family.... * I thought nervously as the carriage door opened and the driver was waiting for me with his hand out. Gently grasping it, I walked and climbed down the small stairs.
I can feel my hands shaking, I lifted my head up and stared into my family's eyes. *Should I run away? * I thought as the carriage left. 'H-hello' I said as I lifted my head.
"I'm so glad that your home!" The beautiful purple haired lady says as she hugged me tightly which made me stiff and not hugging her back. I could feel my sweat dropping. Then I noticed the others were hugging me too.
Their scent and everything were too much for me to handle. I always had a weak body, thanks to those selfish parvis family. I felt a hand on my face and out of reflexed, I slapped it away.
I came back again and noticed the bright red mark that I slapped. *I just slapped the madam Agriche!!* I thought as I walked backwards. 'I-I-I'm sorry!'
I yelled and started running away. I could hear yelling, but I kept running. *This is why I don't trust anyone! I'm just a failure! * I thought to myself as tears came running down my face. I took off my heels and threw them away.
As Keira was running in the woods, Benjamin and his father, Dion was following her on their horses. "Keira! Stop please!! You'll get hurt!" Dion yelled at Keira, who shouted back. 'NO! I-I can't! I'M JUST A FAILURE!' Keria shouted back as she ran faster. The tears made it impossible for her to see and she tripped over a big tree root and slammed her head on the hard ground and laid there, unmoving.
"Keira!" Dion and Benjamin yelled as they reached Keira's body. Dion gets off his horse and rushed to Keira, who was unconscious but breathing.
"She's unconscious" Dion says while sighing in relief and picked up Keira's body, who was concerningly light. Dion handed Keira to Benjamin, who held his sister's body tightly so that she couldn't fall while their riding back.
What are we going to do now? Benjamin asked his father, who was silent. " We're going to call the royal doctor and have him check Keira. Because she is too light.' Dion says as he and his son made it to their house.

Benjamin got off his horse and carried Keira with one hand and the other guiding his horse to the barn along with his father. After that, they made their way inside their mansion and headed to the living room, where their wife/mother and children/siblings were waiting for them.
Medea sees them and rushes to them. "What happened?" Says Medea as she takes Keira from Benjamin's arms and into her own. "We will tell you but can you and Leilin give her a bath and change please? Me and the boys will call the royal doctor" said Dion as Medea nodded as she and her daughter carried Keira to her room.
Medea and Leilin carried Keira to her room and gently placed her on the bed. Leilin started looking for a silk nightgown for Keira while Medea was carefully undressing her daughter when she froze and let out a small cry that Leilin stopped what she was doing and ran to her mother, who was looking at Keira's body, filled with bruises, scratches and burn marks.
Who would do such a thing?! Leilin says as she placed Keira's body in the bathtub and opened the lukewarm water. "I don't know but they will face our wrath..." Medea says with a dark smile and Leilin also had a dark smile too.
They washed Keira's body gently with a silk cloth and rinsing off her body. Once their done, Leilin wrapped a soft cloth around her and carefully dried her off.
She carried Keira back to room and helped her mother dressed Keira in a nightgown. They were finished and heard the door being open. They both turned and saw their father/husband and their siblings/children along with the royal doctor.
"How is she doing?" Dion asked his wife as he and his family gave the doctor some space as he began examining Keira. The look on the doctor's face was shocked horrified that Keira's body was filled with burses, marks from a whip and burn marks. He also found out that she's malnourish, which was the reason why Keira's body was super light.
[I can't believe that those parvis family did this again to sweet Keira] Said the doctor as he gave Keira some medicine to help her heal. He covered Keira's body with the blanket which made everyone watched at Keira was clenching the blanket tightly.
"So how is she doc?" Said Dion to the doctor, who heavily sighed and began speaking. [She is really malnourished, which is the reason why she's super light and is really weak. She was given those by the parvis family.
The duke and his daughter would always abuse Keira. This is her medication; she needs to drink this twice a day.] The doctor says as he bowed to the family and walked out of the room.
After the doctor left, everyone left Keira alone and headed to their room, but Dion and Medea stayed in Keira's room and laid down, with Keira's body was in between them. "We need to help her Dion...I can't stand it that those parvis family are walking away freely."
Medea says as Dion kissed her on the lips. He pulled back and intertwined their hands together. "I know my love, let's get some sleep." Dion says as he kissed Medea's hand and fell asleep with his wife and daughter in arms. Keira laid her head on Dion's right shoulder and snuggled comfortably. This made Dion smiled in his sleep.
It was a peaceful night.
