Kat's POV
Brriiinnnnggggg! Brriiinnnnggggg!
My phone rings, my best friend Ash's ringtone blaring in my ears. I eagerly pick up, hoping for an opportunity to do something fun on this beautiful Saturday. I'd do anything just to get off this couch and go somewhere.
"Hey Kat! Do you want to go to Canobie Lake Park with us? I already contacted Kelly and Katie, but Katie can't go. I just need to confirm with Maddi, Allie, and Lindsey. Can you go?" She asks.
Finally something to do! I agree, quickly tossing a few necessities in a drawstring backpack. I grab some sneakers and run out the door. Once I get outside, I stop myself. I forgot something... a ride, and there is no way I am walking 25 miles.
I dig through my bag and retrieve my phone, and text my mom, too lazy to go back inside and ask. She reluctantly agrees, and we start our little journey to Canobie. This day is going to be awesome.
