chapter 2: best one ive seen, darling

I walked down the halls to my dorm as I let out a soft hum "y/n!" I stopped in my tracks as I turn around to see professor dovey "yes?" I hum softly, she walked up with a soft smile "since you are the new reader I wanted you share a dorm with Agatha, since she was one of the readers from last year" I rasie a brow softly but nod. A little later I'm in my first class of the day and that is Beautification, we had lifted our mirrors and I frowned at my reflection "now smile girls" I looked down as I smiled, I then heard a sound of happiness so I looked up and saw I got a "A", "good job y/n!" I set my mirror down and hum while quickly removing my smile from face, I looked next me and saw another girl who was giving heart eyes which made me very uncomfortable, eventually the bell ringed which made me sigh heavily.

I walked down the halls to the library while holding my book to my chest tightly, I then heard footsteps behind me having me panic a little so I quickly slip in to the library, once in there I walk over to one of the table and take a seat while opening my book. I carefully read my book, I then look up to be met with the dean of evil making me swallow thickly "Lady lesso.." I mumble a little bit, she then sat down and humed a bit "how's your first day so far?" I look around a bit and see that girl again so I just smirk a bit as I look to lesso "it's great, just wish I had a hot teacher like you" Her eyes widen before she let out a chuckle "very bold I see" I giggle a little and open my other book and start to draw a little bit while looking up at her once in a while "what are you doing?" She asked confused, I shrug as I continue to doodle, I took in every feature on her face, like how her cheeks look hallowed but really they arnt, the way her brows arch and her pretty green eyes.

Once I was done I turn it and slide it to her, she smiled a little bit as she lifted it up "best one I've seen, darling" a blush covers my cheeks but I quickly shake my head and God back to reading "well, I better get going before dovey catches me talking to one of her students" I nod softly as I turn the page, I hear her get up so I look up at her with a soft frown while she walks away, I then look to the side of me and see that girl right next to me "hi! Im nala!" She holds out her hand to make making me cringe a but before shaking her hand "y/n.." "I know! I sit next you in our first class!" I pull back my hand and go back to reading while grabing the drawing of lesso that she left behind, I set it down on top of my other book as I hum while reading 'Beauty is power; a smile is its sword.' Was the line, that makes sense for our first assignment today "what's that?" She said while taking my book, her eyes them widen in fear while looking at me "hey! Don't touch that!" I snatch my book back as I close it and set it to my other side.

"Why would you draw her! She's evil!" I shrug and continue to read "I don't know, she's beautiful and I draw beautiful people, and I know she's evil. But evil people still deserve love" I say the last part lowly, everyone deserves love, even her... I look back to the girl who is looking at me like I was a zombie, she then shook her head and went to reach for my book "I said don't touch!" I push her away while standing up having my chair fall "what do you not understand!" I the girl stood up as well "you can't have someone evil in your books! She may corrupt you!" I look at her with wide eyes, corrupt me? I shake my head and pick up my chair and then my books, I turn around and start to walk out "I'm just trying to protect you!" I shut the door and walk out, I then bump in to dovey making me gasp "oh! I'm so sorry dovey!" She chuckled softy and shook her head "your fine darling" I smile a little bit at the nickname and then tuck some hair behind my ear "umm dovey?" She looked back at me with a smile.

"Is it true a evil person can corrupt us?" She widen her eyes a bit and then sighed and nod "yes, but if your truly good you don't need to worry, why?" I took a deep breath and showed her the drawing "I was talking to lesso when I was in the library and I just randomly drew her, and then a girl saw it and said she can corrupt me" doveys eyes widen more, she then grabbed my arm tightly making me whimper "dont ever talk to her again!" I widen my eyes and then nod, if it bothers dovey that much I won't talk to her! A little later that night I was in my dorm and doodling again, why dose all my characters look like her... i look closer to them and noticed they are all her, even the male ones they look just like her... I shut my book and toss it on my endstand, I flop back on the bed and groan, I run my hands over my face and look over to the side to see a bird on the other bed, a raven...?
