The day fell to dusk, but Cruger didn't show any signs of letting up on training.

All day he had me doing what seemed to be an easy obstacle course, much like the kind you'd see in a child play park. After doing it for 13 hours though it seemed more of a chore than training to fight.

Out of breath i said "Cruger..can't I..take a..break," struggling to get the words out.

He just smiled and turned away, until he stopped with if back to me.

"I'm amazed it took you this long to complain," a cocky accent followed with his words, "the rest of the b-squad cadets would never go through training for more than an hour without a remark."

"What!" A strong sence of surprise and anger struck me," you were testing my limits!"

Cruger turned his head to one side, "actually I was testing you determination towards joining the rangers," a smile formed on his muzzle.

He started to walk towards the door.

Confused all I could say is "what do I do now."

Cruger gestured for me to follow him inside. Although angry I was too exhausted to really care about his methods, I walked alongside him and as we entered the halls of the base Cruger told me to get some rest.

"Will training always be this hard?" I questioned.

He shook his head. "No Draco, the training will go smoother than today, now go and get some sleep."

As I turned down the corridors towards my room a quite whisper of anger crept out of my mouth, "yea thanks."
