"So she was actually looking out for you and you were a dick to her in return?" Rosè clarified as she sorted cutlery.

"When you put it that way I sound like a bad person" I pointed out and she nodded. "Oh come on! She's never really given me a reason to trust her in the past" I whisper-shouted at her, aware that my brothers and Jis were sat not too far away from our work station, quite possibly listening in.

"Damn, I would have loved to see you teach Tristan a lesson" She complained, shaking her head. I held up my bandaged hand to her. "It was pretty hilarious" I chuckled.

"It was pathetic, my grandmother has thrown better punches" Nayeon appeared out of nowhere, wielding a spatula. The girl could be quite threatening. "Knowing your family, that's probably true" I stuck my tongue out at her before strutting off.

I strutted straight to the table that seated the gorillas, also known as my family, and their number one fan, Jisoo.

"You better be ready to leave when I'm done, I don't want to be late for dinner" I told them all, removing empty glasses from their table.

"Yes, mom" V Chuckled. I gave him a violent glare, they didn't understand how much being called that hurt me. I liked to look out for them the same way they looked out for me, but when I did it they saw it as a joke.

I couldn't help but notice Jisoo giving me a curious look and I felt myself begin to redden under her scrutiny. Something told me that she saw a lot, saw beyond what the eye could see. She was quiet because she was so busy watching, noticing everything around her.

Suddenly my vision turned black and I jumped as strong hands wrapped around my eyes. "Name three types of fish, go!" The voice demanded of me.

"Uh, salmon, trout and cod" I exclaimed hurriedly, it's harder to think of fish than it seems. Especially when being pressured by an unknown source, it could have been a serial killer for all I could tell! Albeit, that would be a slightly odd request from a murderer...

The hands released me and I spun around to face my oldest brother, Suho.

"Suho!" I exclaimed before wrapping my arms around him, ecstatic to see him. It had been months since I'd seen him. All of my brothers were coming to town for a family dinner, we tried to all get together as often as possible.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, releasing him. "I thought I'd come and pick you up sissy-pants" he pinched the end of my nose. He had a tendency to treat me like a four year old. "I didn't realise the rest of the pack would be here though" he turned to my other brothers.

Doyoung got out of the booth to greet Suho and hug him. As the oldest, Suho was undoubtedly the pack leader with his charisma and charm.

"And who's this?" He signalled Jisoo, eyeing her up. "This is our friend, Jisoo" Hanbin told Suho who instantly his eyes narrowed.

"Yeah, Namjoon mentioned you" he said bluntly. "Should I be worried?" Jisoo asked, looking confused. "Well-" Suho began, I knew he was about to give Jisoo an earful before I elbowed him in the stomach and winded him.

"Not now Suho" I said through gritted teeth "I need to talk to Namjoon about that" I gave Jisoo a quick, reassuring, smile.

"I'll take those for you" said Nayeon, suddenly appearing next to me and taking the tray from my hands. "You can go if you want, nini" she smiled at me, far too enthusiastically. I narrowed my eyes at her instantly, I could tell she had an ulterior motive.

She turned her eyes on Suho, pretending she hadn't seen him there. "Oh hi, I'm Nayeon, Jennie's manager. And you must be?" She waited for him to answer even though I knew she knew his name.
