I never thought one time Hockey would be a job for me, something I can enjoy without having a member of my family put me under pressure. If never done what I have done I will never be there now with a perfect career, amazing friends and don't forget a gorgeous girlfriend who I love the most.
Present day
I woke up early because of practice, I didn't want to wake her up because she was working a 13 hours shift. I can believe she spends all day working but now she has to take weeks off of work. I don't know how long she will be at home, but It looks like she didn't hurry to go back to work.
On my way to practice, I call Shannon to know how her morning went.
Me: hey sorry I left early I have the training to do it ok with you
Shannon: It's fine, I will go back to sleep see you later
Me: ily bye
Shannon: ily too bye
At the practice
One practice left before the tournament. I'm a little bit stressed but it ok I will be fine.
Chris: What's up Irony

Me: That's what I thought we both don't have the answer to our questions
I finish putting on my equipment and start walking my way to the ice for practice. Chris just stood there in shock for no fucking reason.
Coach: Ok boys, we need to practice everyone's shooting skills even you Adam you are always on the goal but if anything breaks his leg, ends up in a coma or dies we will need you.
Adam: But, if I end up in a coma.
Coach: Don't be an idiot, you wouldn't.
Adam: But coach...
Coach: Adam, you have my word so everyone else can go into a coma not you ok end of the conversation
Adam just stood quietly and everyone try to hide their laughter.
Coach: OK guys, everyone in line for the shooting practice Chris and Aaron you will be last ok. LET GO !! LET GO!!
Players after Player everyone shoots amazingly even Adam.
Coach: GUYs, even my little girl who is 6 years old can shoot better than you what is that? Adan, how always in the goal shoot better than you?
The coach always tries to put us down but it helps not the fact he compares me with 6 years old and a goalkeeper.
After the practice, I decided to go back home. It seems ages since I see her.
Back home
She was in bed sleeping. I came closer to her ear and wished in it.
Me: babe, I'm back
She mumbled something I didn't understand
Me: Are you good
Her: Whaaatt...
Me: did you sleep all-day
Her: No, I was with Jud we spend the day together
At that moment I just came closer to her and enter the blanket.
Her: what... Are you doing
Still with a sleepy voice
Me: I came to sleep you are not the only one who's tired
She kisses me with her soft lips. I pull her closer to me and with both fall of sleep .
