Congrats on waiting this long for the cookies to cool! Grab your glaze (or melted chocolate) and grab your first Pelo cookie!
For decorating with glaze, take a rubber spatula and fill in his afro and body. While the glaze is still wet, start to use your toppings you have before and sprinkle them on the Pelo! The best place to sprinkle the toppings is his afro (like as shown in the cover of this book) to make it look like he has little hair accessories! For his face, take small globs of the glaze and carefully trace it out with any sort of small item you have in your kitchen. (The most useful thing to have when decorating Pelo's face is a paintbrush! It always has a soft and pointed end!)
Decorating with the melted chocolates is the same way as with decorating with the glaze! Fill in his afro and body alongside lightly tracing out his face. It is also the same with sprinkling the toppings on when it's still wet too! The only difference is that melting chocolates is more liquidy than the glaze, so you need to be more careful!
Now, you need to wait for the cookies to cool one last time just for the glaze (or chocolate) to firm up on the cookie. Unless you want a gooey frosted cookie, then in that case just dig in! Estimated time for cool is about 5 to 10 minutes.
