QOTV Chapter Outline 2

I know the title is a little confusing, but bear with me here. The reason I labeled this the second outline is because, technically, it is. My first one was a jumble of random ideas of where I wanted the plot to go and some scenes I really wanted to be in the story (some were changed and some stayed relatively the same, but they all made it in there!!!). This one is actually completed, with a step-by-step, chapter-by-chapter description of what my plan was. You can see elements of some things that were changed to fit the story, what remained from day one, what got cut and what was going through my mind.

Please ignore any inconsistencies or places where weird grammar is used; the notes were for my own benefit, and make sense to me. And now I feel like a tour guide, so let's just leave it at that!

(Finished) Prologue: Archie discovers a mysterious and magical clearing in the woods. There, he finds a strange cave with an even stranger humanoid creature living inside it. The creature then throws him out of the meadow, and Archie scampers away and vows never to return to the woods.

(Finished) I: We meet Lunalis and she explains about her life and the voices in her head. Flash forward to Raven and Lunalis in their den when Ramos and Scorpio enter. Ramos starts causing mayhem and Scorpio starts fighting back. Ramos ends up winning and knocking out Scorpio, and hurts Raven. Eclipse then takes over Lunalis' body. She turns Ramos into some sort of mutant freak. She then kills Scorpio and scratches Raven in the face. Lunalis comes back to her senses and blames Eclipse for her brother's death. Ramos disappears and Raven is terrified of Lunalis ever since.

(Finished) II: Toby and Steve tell Krel about the Battle Of The Bands 2.0. They get excited and advertise it a bit more. Goes through school with many reminders of his sister's absence. Then, after school, Douxie comes running to them and informs them about Archie's injury and his encounter with the creature in the woods.

(Finished)III: Lunalis is in archery practice with her peers. Mystere and her clique anger her, and they all are sentenced to three extra hours of archery practice. Lunalis' friends invite her to come to the Alpha's newest performance afterwards. She declines, and they resume practice. In the extra time afterwards, somebody purposefully steps on her tail and she launches the arrow deep into the woods. She goes to retrieve it, and ends up following a hiking trail made by humans and finds Arcadia Oaks.

(Finished) IV: Gang gets the full story about Archie's encounter with the wolf-man. They get in contact with the Area 49B military. They try to find their way back to the clearing but the cave has disappeared. Using a Plan B, they decide to set traps all around Arcadia and try to catch the creature. Toby tells them about the BOTB and they decide to draw it in by relocating it to the woods.

(Finished)V: Lunalis returns to the spot every day since she found the overhang. She likes watching the humans interact and talk. Then, one day, she finds them setting up for the BOTB. She sticks around to see them perform, and ends up getting drugged by Archie, who's posing as an average cat. She tries to fly away, but ends up fainting and crash-landing onto the stage.

(Finished)VI: Lunalis wakes up imprisoned in Area 49B. She's taken to a very large holding cell where she stays for 2 days. Then, Krel & gang show up one evening.

(Finished)VII: The boys go to Area 49B. They see Lunalis, and Douxie explains about the Ventils and how they're doomed. The sergeant explains how she likes toying with the men at the base, making them go crazy. But, she only goes for the single ones. So, Toby and Steve decide to throw Douxie and Krel into her cage and see if they'll be okay because Douxie is a wizard and Krel is an Akiridion. Lunalis tries to prey on the two men in her domain. When they exit, they start convening. They end up deciding that if and when she's tame enough, she could be used as a bargaining chip to make sure the Ventils leave Arcadia alone.
