Chapter One
A 24 hour wedgey.
Alex POV
I had two straws stuck up halfway up my nose and two friends beside me in fits of laughter.
"hey, we have to drink with those!" Natalie whined, while gasping for breath.
We were in the middle of Macdonalds enjoying a well deserved meal after a long day of shopping.
"we can get more" I said, rolling my eyes. I looked over to my friend Juliet, with her big brown eyes and chocolate coloured hair.
Chocolate.
"I want to get a chocolate sundae too!" I announced, a smile errupting on my face.
Chocolate was one of my weaknesses, so was ice-cream, resulting in ice cream sundaes literally making my knees weak.
"Not all of us can eat what ever we want and not get fat" Juliet commented a hint of envy in her voice.
I stood up quickly, my jet black ponytail swinging in the air.
"well sorry miss I-eat-healthy-but-still-am-larger-than-Alex, I can't help genetics! and weight doesn't matter anyway, you're still way prettier than me!"
She blushed at my comment but just as she was going to deny it I cut in,
"well are you coming or not?"
I impatiently waited as she took her time to get up and flick her long waves over one shoulder, by the time she had pulled out her Ipod to check her reflection, i was halfway to the counter.
"stay there and look after our stuff Nat!" i called back, not wanting the rest of my fries to be stolen. When Juliet finally reached the counter i had already placed my order and was standing to the side waiting for my creamy goodness.
"Took your time Ju-Ju" I teased, calling her the nickname i had given her when we were younger.
"It takes time to look this good" she retorted with a over-dramatic flick of her hair. It was true though, she did look good, like always.
When we got back to our table, and half my sundae was gone, and there were two boys standing over our table obviously flirting with Natalie.
I was going to stay here and let Nat have her moment of fame until i noticed the type of clothes the boys were wearing, low-ridden skinny jeans and snapbacks places backwards on their heads. Not the type of boys Natalie should be messing with.
I stalked over to our table and plonked myself on my seat directly beside Natalie, my eyes daring them to say something. The one closest to Natalie handed her a piece of paper, and with a wink both boys left.
I looked over to Natalie ready to shout, until i realised the slight blush in her freckled cheeks and a twinkle in her blue eyes.
"you can't be serious" i moaned, resting my head into my hands. She looked at me with pleading eyes.
"But Alex, you saw how cute they were! One text wouldn't do any harm would it?"
I had to admit they both were really cute, the one that gave Natalie his number had black hair and mysterious brown eyes, the other had sandy blonde hair and hazel eyes.
I don't trust either of them.
"okay" i sighed, "but you can't say i didn't warn you"
she was literally jumping with joy until she noticed the seriousness on my face.
"Im serious when i say this, if this Jace guy ever hurts you, I'm going to get a knife and.."
"she will be fine" Juliet intervened "as long as she's careful"
Natalie smiled gratefully at her.
"You have weird taste in boys" I commented slightly shaking my head "I mean did you see the way he was wearing his pants? His jeans were halfway down his asscrack and his undies were up to his bellybutton! Like seriously, that would be like a 24 hour wedgey!"
I cringed at the thought of how comfortable that would be while my friends laughed like there was no tomorrow.
