The rather old man in all white, lead Vienna down the corridor to the hall. He kept the conversation brief with the understanding she didn't want to talk. Her name had been whispered in the corridors weeks building up to her arrival with her infamous uncle, Severus Snape.

Vienna met him once, her father not wanting him involved in her life for the wizardry reasons but realized it was inevitable when his daughter got an invitation to Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the ripe age of 7. He sent her off to live with the strange man after he couldn't bare the feeling of failure in raising a normal kid.

She looked nothing like her uncle. She had nearly white hair and tan tinted skin, as well as shimmery green eyes. No one would think they ought to be related. The doors to the hall opened and the feeling of a million eyes landed on her.

They walked up the aisle to the front where the Sorting Hat sat. It was an unusual ceremony hence it being mid school year, but the students were eager to watch. They all knew where she would be sorted, but still held hope.

They watched as she sat and the hat was placed on her head. "Vienna Snape." The hat recognized and began to ponder. "Griffindor .... or ... Slytherin?" It thought aloud. "Slytherin!"

The table cheered, some even standing and applauding. The plain black robe suddenly had green stripes and a slytherin patch. Vienna's radiant smile never faltered, even as she met eyes with her uncle.

The girl walked towards the table and took a seat next to a girl and few guys. "I'm Pansy Parkinson, these are my friends Draco Malfoy, Vincent Grabbe, Gregory Goyle, and Blaise Zabini." The rather pug looking girl told her.

"And how come we weren't introduced, sweet heart?" A boy asked from not a whole lot further down. Pansy sighed and rolled her eyes. "They are Matthew Riddle and Theodore Nott." Vincent sneered.

Vienna nodded. "I'm Vienna Snape." She said with a soft yet confident voice. The group of teens surrounding her looked surprised to hear an American voice. "The last name is a coincidence, correct?" Matthew asked. Vienna shook her head.

"He surely is my uncle." She told them with a smile. "Sure doesn't look like it!" Theodore joked, causing the group to laugh. The difference between the man and his niece was astonishing. They were complete opposites in looks.

"What school did you use to go to?" Pansy asked, and the conversation between the teens flowed from there.

Everyone slowly started to leave the hall, but the chatty slytherins were having too much of a good time to notice they were some of the last people there. Snape and Dumbledore watched how Vienna interacted with everyone carefully.

Vienna often glanced over making them look away and sometimes would turn around to see a trio of Griffindors her year starting at them.

"She doesn't know she's in the prophecies." Snape mumbled to the older man. "The only way she could know is if she spends the Holiday Break with a certain Griffindor based family." He continued.

"That's why she'll spend it with the Malfoy's, who are spending it with the Riddles, Notts, and you." Dumbledore spoke.

They're eyes trained onto the girl as she made her way to the dormitory tower with Pansy and the guys. Matthew looked back and nodded his head towards them and they nodded back. The Golden Trio was still there and saw everything.

They were eager to know what that was for, and they will figure it out.
