We headed towards the abandoned girls bathroom on the third floor just to make sure we were not gonna get caught. When we got we made sure the cameras were off and snuck out the window one by one. When we successfully made it off of school grounds I made a sigh of relief only to remember what I was about to do. We started walking down the route to my grandma's when I stopped. This needed to happen as quickly as it possibly could. "Wait... why are we stopping?" Thomas asked confused. "Listen, please just listen."
I said seriously. "Ok...go on." he hesitantly replied
"Do you remember when I spent the night at your house?" I said. "Not really. why?" He replied. Before I could reply I could see the gears clicking in his head. My nerves started to get the best of me and I started panicking. "No..." he said, the nerves in his voice very clear. "Yes and I-" "NO WAY!!!" he suddenly yelled causing me to jump a little. "I didn't mean to scare you it's just... I'm so excited!!!" He said enthusiastically not easing my nerves at all in the process. He reached over and gave me the biggest hug I've ever had. "Your not scared??" I asked nervously. "Scared? Yes. Happy 100% yes." We started walking again and after what felt like forever walking under that pink sky, we made it to my grandma's. Now don't get me wrong, I love my grandma but it's been a while since I've seen her and it only feels right to just knock on the door and hope for the best. We agreed that it would be best for Thomas to just wait with me until she answered. When she answered and saw 2 scared nerved up children she instantly froze. "Kayla?" She asked confused "grandma. Hi. This is Thomas. I need to talk to you, as long as it's ok with you." I said "sure honey, come in." She replied.
