Taehyun's POV

Mrs Najla and Mr Felix left me and Wooyeol at the hospital due emergency that happened in their charity house.

Wooyeol fainted in the sickbay and we couldn't find any solution and immediately brought her to the hospital.

after an hour of waiting, the doctors came out. I stood up and waited for the doctor to say anything.

"Seo Wooyeol fainted due to a vasovagal reaction which is caused by stress sadness or pressure. it's very common among the students or workers but I hope you are alerted. this case will happen often to her and it'll affect the baby inside. For now, we'll let her stay for observant" My eyes widen.

"baby? what baby?" I asked.

"she's pregnant, almost 2 months now, aren't you his boyfriend?" asked the doctor, I nodded awkwardly.

baby?? no...
she's going to be a mother...
and obviously, I'm the father...

I barged in and saw her staring at the window with no expression. I stared at her, trembling. I did ruin her life and our friendship. I softly tapped her shoulder.

"Taehyun.. why don't you leave me already?" asked her without looking at me. I feel guilty but maintain a cold expression

"Why should I?" asked her back.

"you ruined my life... and if you want to take responsibility, it'll ruin your reputation more.." said Wooyeol.

that's true, it'll ruin my reputation but it's my responsibility. I don't care if my parents gonna abandon me or whatever. I just don't want Wooyeol to get hurt.

"I'll choose to be with you, Wooyeol. I'm starting a family with you. how can I just leave you alone after I did something horrible to you?"

I pulled her into a kiss. she didn't respond or blush as she used to. She looks emotionless. I broke the kiss and looked away.

"Perhaps you want an abortion, but I want that baby, so please don't" I begged, she looked away.

"no, I won't abort it. it's a living thing, not a doll" I was relieved, I took a glance at her and she didn't even want to look at me back.

"If you're forced to be with me after what Sean has done to you, maybe you should rethink your decision, Taehyun" She looked down at her belly.

I held her chin up and lent for another kiss, both of my hands travelled on her face and cupped her cheeks. She defeated and kissed me back.

"I was madly in love with you, Seo Wooyeol... no one had made me this way except for you. you've taught me about feelings and how much I've denied this feeling it's getting stronger whenever I see you, Wooyeol. The world hasn't noticed your kindness and how much effort you put into making the earth smile. So please, let me be part of your life..." I cried on her lap, begging. I confessed everything to her...

to my shock, she stroked my head softly, I missed her touch. She whispered some comforting words. I looked up at her, and she finally smiled.

"you're such a crybaby, Taehyun" she chuckled.
