Catching the bouquet

I was on my way to my best friends wedding. I am a singer and she asked me to sing for her while she walks down the isle.

Did i mention i'm her maid of honor 😉

After the sound checks, i start to sing the song. The song of choice was "Cant Help Falling In Love" I love singing that song. All of us got ready and it was time.

The isle:

She looked amazing. I got the cue to start singing.

"Wise men say, only fools rush in. But I cant help falling in love with you." i sang, i look in-front of me to see a beautiful man.

I kept singing looking at him, occasionally on my best friend. The isle was quite long and they walked slow so the whole song could play. This was the song they danced to when they fell in love. How romantic. I was there aswell, she just ditched me for him.

His hazel eyes are staring in mine while i sing.

"ohh if i can't help falling in love with you, oh like a river flows, surely to the sea. darling so it goes, somethings are meant to be. take my my hand, take my whole life to."

still keeping the eye contact. i kept singing. As approached her husband and the ceremony started.

After the ceremony:

"Hello" I hear a deep voice behind me with a thick brazilian accent.

(pretend they r talking in portuguese)

"hello neymar" i say turning around to stare at him. we look into eachothers eyes until we were called into the bouquet catching.

"catch it for us" he says and gives me a kiss on the lips.

WHAT.

i leave saying nothing. my cheeks turning red.

"hey y/n what happened to you? you look like u have not been breathing?" my best friend says.

"neymar just said "catch it for us" and gave me a kiss on the lips." i say frozen.

"I'll make sure to throw it right at you love" she says with the smugness smirk.

She wasn't kidding. I caught the bouquet.

"well princesa, looks like we have to get married now." neymar walks up behind me and hits my waist.

"KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS!" everyone starts to chant.

Neymar grabs my chin and pulls it up for a kiss.
