Chapter 2

-Brittany's POV-

The teacher said we were aloud to leave because she needed a drink. so stayed in the classroom along with about half the class. I saw a boy walk up to Cassie and she wakes away. I giggled because that's classic Cassie. Stubborn as always. She walked into the bathroom and I didn't really care at first. About 15 minutes later she was still in there. I was getting worried so I went to go see what was wrong.

I walked in and saw a puddle of blood coming from the middle stall. I slowly walked forward and opened the stall. I saw Cassie lying o the floor with her pants down and it looks like she got her period. This was test bad though. There was blood everywhere and she was passed out.

I ran to the nurses office and told her to follow me to the bathroom.

"HURRY" I yelled making her practically fall on her face.

We continued to run until we made it to the girls bathroom. When we walked through the door she wasn't there. I looked in all the stalls and couldn't find her anywhere. The blood was still there but she wasn't. The nurse ran back to her office while I looked around the school.

I have been to all the classrooms and even the janitor closets. I was walking through the doors to go out to the outdoor picnic areas when I heard someone whispering somewhere.

I followed the whispers and was brought to the big shed with broken windows and vines all around it. I walked around and try to find an entrance but couldn't find one anywhere. The whispering was becoming louder and louder the more I walked around. I moved some of the vines and found a broken window that was big enough for me to crawl through. I crawled through and saw two people lying on the floor. When I walked up I saw that it was that kid that was talking to Cassie before she went to the bathroom. He was stroking somebody's hair. I pretended to clear my throat and got his attention. He looks like he just saw a ghost.

"What are you doing here?!" The boy said panicked.

"I'm looking for Cassie." I said looking at her lying on the floor. Her pants were down to her ankles. I looked over to see The kid playing with his belt trying to buckle his pants. My heart suddenly dropped.

"What, what were you doing here with her?" I asked with my heart pace speeding up.

"Nothing I gotta go." The boy got up and crawled out the window as fast as he could.

I felt a tear rolled down my cheek as I was walking towards Cassie. I couldn't believe what he just did her. She started to move a little so I helped her up and leaned her against a broken table. She started to mumble something but I couldn't make out what she was saying. I looked around and try to find something that could help her stand up. Her legs are all wobbly and I didn't know what to do. I told her to stay where she was and I was going to get the principle.

When I got back with the principal, she was laying on the floor with blood everywhere. Again. The principal quickly called the police, they said an ambulance was on the way. I just couldn't hold back anymore I let the tears escape my eyes.

I was on my knees, bawling the whole time while the principal was trying to wait Cassie up. I could hear sirens coming closer and closer. I shot up and ran out of the window, well crawled.

I guided the ambulance to where she was and they put her on a gurney. They let me come in the back of the truck with her. I couldn't believe it. I was in the back of an ambulance with my best friend when she just got raped. Raped by somebody we go to school with.

I don't feel safe anymore. I feel so violated it wasn't even me. I just want to get out of the city. Gone, somewhere far far away. I whipped out my phone and called my parents. I told him what was going on and where he was going to be after school. The principal already call Cassie's parents and they were already at the hospital waiting for her daughter to be rolled through those doors.

I looked over and winced. The site of seeing your best friend, scratch that, sister lying in the back of an ambulance truck because something horrible happened to her.

A couple minutes later the ambulance came to a stop. I heard people running and then the doors eventually opened. A very handsome doctor help me out of the truck and then about five people came running out and got Cassie out.

I saw her parents running out of the door crying. I ran up to them and hugged them. We didn't know what was wrong and that was the scariest part of this all. We walked inside and sat in the waiting room to be informed what was wrong with my best friend and their daughter.

**2 hours later**

It's been two hours. Two fucking hours. I couldn't take it anymore. From all the crying babies, to the complaining parents was just too much sound. I was knocked out of my train of thought by a doctor walking up to me and Cassie's parents.

"Are you here for Cassie Grayson?" He asked walking up to us with a clipboard.

"YES!!" We all said in unison, standing up.

"It seems to be that the cause of the excessive bleeding is a miscarriage." He said looking up.

We all stood there in shock.
