I managed to make it home okay last night. Everything was fine after Chan walked me to the store. That was so nice of him. I really hope we run into each other again.
It would be nice to have a friend like him.
Anyways, when I got home, both Minho and the new cat were asleep on the couch, curled up under Minho's duvet which he must have dragged down from his room.
I set the cat food down on the kitchen counter and poured kitty litter into the new litter tray, moving it into the laundry. I left the door slightly open so that the cat could access it if it needed to.
Once that was done I went upstairs, changed, brushed my teeth and went to bed.

morning
I'm sitting at the island in the middle of the kitchen, watching TV from across the room. Minho is still asleep on the couch, but the new cat is perched on the stool beside me, watching me intently.
"What?" I say, eyeing it back.
The cat stares for a few seconds longer and then jumps off, to go snuggle with Minho again.
I roll my eyes.
"I've known him waaayyy longer than you have. Don't think that you can come between us, cat."
It gives me another cold stare. I turn back around and check my phone for any notifications. There's a few from Felix and a couple others.. but only one catches my eye.
"PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT"
"A 54 year old male by the name of David Sanders has gone missing. He is described as 6'8, caucasian and has short grey hair. Mr Sanders was last seen yesterday around 7pm, wearing a grey jumper, black sweatpants and black sneakers.
Please keep in mind that the individual is known to be hostile. If you see anyone matching this description, please do not hesitate to call authorities.
Thank you all."
That description fits the man who tried to follow me last night.
I click the phone number at the end of the message and my phone starts to ring, waiting for someone to pick up.
"Hello, how can I help you?" A woman's voice on the other end answers.
"Hi, I think I saw that David guy last night. He tried to follow me. I don't know the exact location but it was somewhere near _______ convenience store."
"Oh, he didn't harm you in any way did he?" She asks.
"No, luckily he didn't." I say.
"That's good. Please be cautious when visiting that store until we find him. It could be dangerous."
"I will."
"Okay, I'll just get your first and last name as well as your phone number and email so that we can contact you if there are any updates."
I give her my contact information.
"Thank you very much for your help, Han. Bye now." She hangs up.
*beeeeepp beeeep beeeep*
I sigh and place my phone on the counter.
"So that's why you were late..." I hear Minho's voice right behind me. "I'm glad you got home okay." There's sympathy in his words. He places a small kiss on my temple and goes upstairs.
