Rimuru's First Task Pt.1

Chapter 5

No One POV

A few days had passed since Rimuru had arrived in the Pokémon world and has gotten his trainers license and other supplies that a beginning trainer needs as he's quite glad that he doesn't need to carry all of the things that he gotten from the poke mart around it since it would be a real pain in the ass to deal with. He decided to take on Professor Cerise's offer of being a lab assistant as he will be helping around the lab whenever he needs him to do something which wasn't that much if he's being honest as the lab is kept quite clean and relatively organized if Chrysa hasn't done anything to the documents and such that is.

Another thing is that both Ash and Goh to him is just like the anime always hyper and sometimes annoying which he'll admit but the good thing is that they always go onto adventures and what not as today is no different, but they went to the Hoenn region for something which he would have to guess the Flute cup

Rimuru: hmm I wonder what I should do now that I'm settled here, I could go out and train Rowlet and capture new Pokémon, but I just don't know where to begin. he said to himself as he's in his room

Shadow Mewtwo:*in her ball*I'm still surprised that Lord Arceus has given you that pendant I wonder why he did it. she said back to him as Rimuru looked at the pendant around his neck

Rimuru: well, Arceus had told me that this pendant will attract Pokémon to me for it'll make it easier for me to catch although he did warned about other legendary and mythical Pokémon as well since they can sense his power, the same can be said about your ball. he replied to his shadow legendary

Shadow Mewtwo:*in her ball*if you do run into any legendary Pokémon your going to have to use me since I don't believe your Rowlet will be able to handle against their power she'll get demolished. she said to him which he nodded

Rimuru:*nods*yeah your right and plus i don't want her to get injured and possibly die from it. he said

But his thoughts were cut off when someone had come knocking onto his door of his room as he was confused as to who it was but he didn't think much of it as he immediately grabbed Shadow Mewtwo's ball and clipped it onto his belt and hid his Arceus pendant into his shirt.

Rimuru: um you can come in. he said to the person as to his surprise Chloe opened the door

Rimuru:*raises an eyebrow*uh what's your name again? he asked her pretending that he doesn't know her name

Chloe: the names Chloe remember but anyways my dad wants to see you he's in the lab. she said back to him

Rimuru: oh sorry about that I'm still getting used to your guys names but aren't you supposed to be in school though. he asked her

Chloe:*shakes her head*no not today the teachers give us days off on Friday's and besides we have an extra long weekend since they have a teachers meeting on Monday. she said to him

Rimuru:*thinks to himself*well shit I wished my school back at my old world gave us Friday's off. he thought to himself

Rimuru: I see but in any case I'll go see what your dad wants then I'll see you later. he said as he stood up from his bed

He gathered some of his stuff such as Rowlet's ball and his Rotom phone and made his way out of his way as he's surprisingly a inch taller than Chloe she was quite surprised to see that he's quite short for his age since he is the same age as her and Ash and Goh, as he's not the only one getting used to everything as even Chloe is getting used to his presence.

Chloe: well at least he isn't loud like Ash and Goh that's for sure he's a lot more mature as well, I sorta wished they both were like that. she said to herself as she walked off toward her room
