ENVY ❪ Korean : 엔비 , enbi ╱formerly known as Storybook Girls (Korean: 스토리부크 소녀 , seutoribukeu sonyeo ) ❫ is a South Korean girl group based and formed in Seoul , South Korea . They were created by and are still currently under Storybook Music ( a subsidiary label of Enchanted Labels ) . The group was originally revealed as Storybook Girls in early 2021 as a trainee group before debuting as ENVY on October 31 , 2021 with the mini album ❛ ENVIOUS ❜ and its lead single ❛ Eleven ❜ . They made their Japanese debut on May 23 , 2023 with the single ❛ WAVE ❜ . The group currently consists of nine members : Hyeyun , Zini , Rainee , Willa , Yuki , Hezhi , Lys , and Kyuri .
