Quackity quickly tried to smooth down his hair and straighten his shirt as he looked around Las Nevadas for where Charlie had disappeared to.

He was beginning to seriously regret not tidying up a bit more first.

"Quackity from Las Nevadas! There you are!" Quackity heard from beside the fountain.

"Hey Slime," he greeted. Charlie was standing at the bottom of the fountain with Foolish.

"Hi Quackity," said Foolish. "I sent Slimecicle to see where you were and if you were ok but he came back saying you didn't want to be disturbed or whatever-"

"Hey, I'm ok, here I am."

"Well yeah I see that now. What were you even doing?"

"Quackity from Las Nevadas, what's that on your neck?" Quackity quickly covered his neck with his shirt collar.

"Huh? There's nothing there. It's nothing," he rambled, Foolish looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Quackity, what is it?" Foolish questioned.

"Nothing."

"Who is it then?"

"No one," he snapped.

"I could always just ask Charlie, I bet he walked in on you-"

"Don't ask him! Charlie doesn't know, if course he doesn't! There's nothing to know!" Quackity laughed awkwardly. "It's fine, there's nothing on my neck, and now you know that I'm ok so I should go. Also, Slime can I see you for a minute?"

"Sure, Quackity from Las Nevadas!"

"Just call me Quackity."

Once the two were far enough away from Foolish, Quackity turned to Slimecicle. "You're not to tell anyone what you saw in my office, understood?"

"Don't worry Quackity from Las Nevadas, my lips are sealed!" he made a motion as though he were zipping his lips shut.

"Just Quackity."

Wilbur was in his new country, clearing out the area. He swung his axe down on a tree, chopping it down. It had been almost two days since his visit with Quackity. He had left Las Nevadas after getting a shower in Quackity's room, because there was a nice shower right there, why not? He was still having some difficulty walking, but in his defence, thirteen years is a long time.

"So did you get that place in Las Nevadas or whatever?"

Wilbur swung around to see Tommy standing behind him.

"Oh, I don't know. Probably not. Hopefully I did." Tommy looked at him.

"Why don't you know? I kinda figured you'd just stay there pestering Quackity till he gave in and let you have an apartment or something somewhere. Maybe even a shack on the outskirts of the city."

"I would have, but he left before I could."

"And you didn't follow him?"

"Nope."

The younger boy just looked at him, eyes narrowed, and Will grinned back at him.

"Well whatcha doing?" Tommy asked.

"Clearing out the area. Might build something here," Wilbur answered, shrugging.

He continued to chop down a few trees, Tommy deciding to help. He had made good work of it by the time the sun fell low in the sky. He and Tommy had been making small conversation all through the day, and they were really beginning to feel like brothers again.
