"Hey are you coming with us?" Akio asked as he leaned his face towards my computer, trying to figure out what I was typing on the screen.

"No. I don't think so." I whispered, eyes still on the computer in front of me, filled with all the codes I have programmed. With one click of my finger I can make something no-one has ever heard of and all I'm doing is waiting for the right opportunity to finally click submit. But not now. Not today. I have to be patient and think carefully.

"Why?" The boy besides me starts to whine. It makes me cringe. "You're always focused on that stupid computer like you have nothing else to do!" He whisper shouts, crossing his hands on his chest with an annoyed look on his face.

I stop typing, pull my glasses off my face and slowly put them on top of my head. I turn my head to face the boy who wouldn't leave me alone, even if I asked him to.

Akio katayama the boy I have been friends with for nearly 6 years now. The boy who was the first person to ever talk to me and my first ever friend. I still remember the way he sat next to me in lunch one day and started talking nonsense about how 'people should start caring about climate change'. I wanted to move away from him But I didn't. Instead I listened to his stupid 'climate change stuff' and became friends with this moron.

"Hello?" He waved his hand in front of my face "are u still there?" I push his hand away from my face as he laughs.

I don't know what changed about him but recently he's more attractive than normal. Maybe because he finally found a sense of fashion . But that's not all it, he's more taller than the first time I met him and has way more bigger arms than the last time, filled With muscle. His body proportion were something else, I sometimes forget that this is still the same shy boy I met back in High-school. He seems so different now .

"I can't come with you guys today. I have lots of things to take care of." I turn away to face my computer again, pulling my glasses back down, putting them on my face as I started to type again.

"Are you sure? If u come with us I can drop you off." His voice was filled with concern.

"I'm fine. I can take the bus." I say while my hands still work on my keyboard.

"Okay whatever you say, princess." His strong and muscular hand mosses the top of my head as he stands up and grabs his Nike bag-pack, swinging it on one shoulder.

I must be lying to myself, if I say he didn't make my heartbeat fasten. Everything he does makes me blush but I don't show it to him. He's at the entrance of the library, waves me goodbye and a small smile which I return. And I slowly see him disappear into the distance.

I lean back into my chair, stretching my legs and arms as my head was thrown backwards. After a few minutes, I started to pack my things ready to leave the library. If I hurry just a little bit, I might still be able to catch the last bus on tonight.
