Its a Sunday night.
You are on your car, returning home from holidays
Your dad decided to take a shortcut, to avoid traffic
There are no lights next to the road, leaving the car so dark that you dont dare to open your phone, because you will ruin the moment
You had remembered to take ur headphones with you, so you put a good song to listen to
Everyone in the car is asleep, except you and your dad,who is driving
You turn your head towards the window
Suddenly you realize the sky is extremely clear
There are no street lights nearby,no houses, just a few trees
You look a little closer
And there it is, the moon.So bright that its light almost blinds you
You start searching for stars
Your eyes start to adjust. There they are.
Thousants of hundreds of stars,spreaded around the moon, like sprayed water drops
And there you are, just staring at them with that look.The look that you have when you are deeply concerned about something.Its like they magnitize you
And then, light.
You realize your dad entered the main road, and the street lights and the cars make it impossible for you to look at the sky anymore.
You start searching for an opening, eager to take one final glimpse of the sky and the stars.
You finally find one. No cars. No street lights. And the only thing you can see is the moon.
Just hanging there, in the middle of the gap
That was the last thing you saw before entering the road again.
You keep replaying the image in your head,again and again.
And you wonder. You wonder that,if you only could, would you just stand there, looking at the moon and its blinding light untill the sun rose and beautiful colors,pink, yellow, orange took its place
And there comes the urge to express yourself.
You find urself starting to type... "Just... Imagine"
