My Childhood's Wish

Chapter 1.2

*Present time*

"Ma'am, please take your seat" Sir Jamie interrupted her.

She proceeds to take her seat and gave a small grin as a greeting.

That ain't something a normal stranger would say right? I'm in a daze when she knew my name. It might be a straight guess but forget it for now. I'll just keep on doing my notes until homeroom is over.

Lunch break has started and I bought a sandwich that tastes decently for its price. I don't get it at all, a random girl- no, A BEAUTIFUL RANDOM GIRL suddenly calls my name in question. Does she know me or something? Maybe she might have seen me before when I enrolled in this school. But wait, I hardly find any people my age taking enrollments at the school at the time so that's off the possibilities.

Does this mean she knows me from my past?

That's impossible, I don't recall my classmates getting into the same school as me. Especially when I live in a different city. I'm so clueless that I just ate my sandwich midway in the hall.

Returning to my room, I saw the same girl along with people I don't know of. 

"Hey, What school did you attend?" One of my classmates asked.

"Your clothes look very nice! Where did you get them?" Another Classmate Asked.

She seems to be popular among the girls while some of the boys are fixated on looking at her from afar. She does reply to each question with a friendly gesture while talking to them. If only I was popular like her, I could have been amazing. Too bad I'm not popular in my old school though.

Everyone went back to their seats. We were told to introduce ourselves after lunch. This might be the time that I'll be noticed by everyone. The girl on the left of my seat has a poker face so I can't read her. I REALLY wanna know why she asked me that earlier today. Starting at the front near the right side, I got to know the names of my classmates. Each of them has wonderful traits and interests though mine can be far from them. As the climax reaches near me she stood up to introduce herself. Little did I know...

"Hi! My name is Reina Herrera. A pleasure to meet all of you!" She smiles brightly.

Reina... wait..... WAAIIIIT........

My face suddenly became red as I heard Reina's words. I'm completely shocked as it kept ringing in my ear loudly as a jackhammer. Sir Jamie had to call me twice to stand up.

"I- Uhm- I..."

I'm lost for words. I keep looking down as I see something through those shoes. I can't focus on what I just had to process in my mind. It shivers me more as she suddenly does something. 

*Reina pinches my sides*

"GAHHH, H-HEY!!!" I suddenly flinched.

"Hmph" *she looks away*

I looked at her with a sigh on my face. My classmates didn't see her pinching me since it was a long table so I ended up Introducing myself in a disastrous moment because of it.

I knew it. The time when I find her strangely familiar isn't strange at all. I'm sure of it, she is definitely the Reina I once liked. She is.... my childhood crush.
