Xander's POV:
I ran over to the pile of a range weapons with Oliver fallowing behind. There was a kid that looked no older than 10 standing near the pile "Um... can I grab a weapon?" I asked while fidgeting with my hoodie strings, the boy just glared that made me back up a little bit "For what purpose?" He asked still glaring "To help with the fight" Oliver said pointing out side. The boys glare softened "Yes, but be warned this is no game of capture the flag, it is really dangerous out there," He sighed "be careful."We walked towards the pile and started rummaging through the assortment of weapons. After picking up a few different ones I settled on a celestial bronze sword that read Μικροσκοπικός Άγγελος on the hilt and after asking the kid, he said it meant 'Tiny Angel' (A/N: I think that's right but I don't know for sure) and Oliver picked up a Celestial gold dagger that read Καταιγίδα on the blade which the kid said it read 'Storm' (A/N: Again I don't know for sure)
We headed outside only to see there were more monsters then when we first arrived. A monster came barreling toward us, and for two people that have never touched a sword before I got to say we weren't half bad. After that, the monsters seemed to come one after another and got harder and harder. I was getting tired at this point but I knew I couldn't stop now, we were fighting for something too important.
I heard a war cry and looked up. There was a girl in a red and gold chariot pulled by four fire breathing black horses with manes of fire flying above us yelling something that I assume is Greek, and a boy just appeared out of nowhere with skeletons. The girl had short hair and looked fierce and everyone was calling her 'Clarisse'. The boy was shrouded in darkness so I couldn't see him very well but someone called him 'Nico'.
"Xander!" Oliver panicked, I quickly turned around, I got so distracted watching the others fight that I didn't notice a kid behind me, she was 18-ish, she must have been on Kronos's side. I tried to fight her but I was surprised and unfocused. The girl suddenly...stabbed me in the side with a silver sword. "This really isn't how I pictured my day going when I woke up this morning" I said while taking her sword and tossing it aside from her loosened grip, she glared at me and ran to grab her sword and started fighting someone else.
I looked down at my side, the cut was deeper than I first thought. I put pressure on the wound but as I did I could feel my blood run between my fingers, I try to take a breath and get my thoughts together but as I do I get a stabbing pain shoot through my body. I stagger towards a nearby tree and slowly sit down, my eyelids keep getting heavier and suddenly I pass out.

A/N:
Sorry this chapter was so weird I wasn't really sure what to write. And for what it's worth, thanks for all the people who have read the story so far. Also here's a random quote I like because I felt like putting it.💀"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only once"
-George R. R. Martin
