Chapter 5 -feelings-

Amy's POV:
"That's ridiculous." Sonic joked. I started to laugh out of nervousness. "Well hopefully it works out for all the people that have it." I continue to drink my soda. Strange. Why is Sonic acting so nervous? 

I shrug and finish off my drink. Later on the party starts dying down. People are leaving. A slow dance started to play. People were started to grab partners and sway to the slow music. It sounded so romantic. If only.. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around. It was Sonic.
Maybe I could ask him..it's a long shot.

Sonic's POV:
I want to dance with her. I really do. Okay just be cool Sonic. Be calm. "Say Amy. Do you care to dance?" I gestured my hand out. She looks at me funny and waves her hands at me. "I-uh I don't think that's a good idea. Maybe another time."

OKAY. DON'T PANIC. MAYBE SHE GOT..nervous? I see what she's doing..we'll I'll just make her jealous. That will get her jealous.

I smirked as I walked away. And I know just the way. I giggled as I headed out towards the balcony.

Amy's POV:
Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. WHY DID I DO THAT? I smacked my face repeatedly. I was in the heat of the moment. I don't know how to react. I want to play hard to get but that just backfired so bad. Shit. Well. I might as well go find someone else to dance with. Which shouldn't be too hard.

I felt a tap on my shoulder as I see Shadow. I hoped it to be Sonic as my smile slowly fades for a moment. "Woah hey don't look so happy to see me." He jokes. I roll my eyes and return the laugh. "What's up Rose what are you standing here by yourself for?"

I sighed. "Sonic won't dance with me." I pout. He smirks. "Well he's stupid." I scoff. "Well I don't see how-" Next thing I know he's taking my hand and bringing me to the dance floor. "Woah shadow Wait! I don't know how to dance!"

He chuckled as he holds one my hands while putting the other one on my waist. "Relax Rose. I'll reach you. Just follow my steps. I'll go slow but try to keep up." He teases. I roll my eyes and do as he said.

Okay this actually isn't going as bad as I thought. That was until he stepped on my foot like 40 times. "FOR THE LOVE OF CHAOS STOP STEPPING ON MY SHOE." He chuckled. "Woops." I growl as he laughs.

Sonic's POV:
I was outside on the balcony watching Shadow and Amy from a distance. I tapped my foot impatiently trying to remain calm. That should be me. Not him. I love her. Not him...should he me...I repeated in my head. I felt a presence while I was lost in thought but I really wasn't paying attention. I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Sonikkue." I heard her say. "You can't call me that and you know that. That isn't your nickname to say." It's only Amy's..I look at her while looking out to the balcony. "What do you want anyway?" She giggles. "Youuuu~" I push her away gently as she giggles more. She is so drunk. And she's an ugly drunk too. "Please Sally not tonight.

You're not even supposed to be here I don't even know why you're even-" Suddenly it hit me.

Wait...this could be it. An opportunity. I could just make Amy notice me with Sally. I'm such a genius. I look at Sally. Although this is going to be very painful for me.

I turn hee way and smirk. "Come closer dear." I say. Ew. Even saying that makes me wanna puke I'm my mouth. But I have to do this. For her. I pull her closer trying not to pass out from her intoxicated breath.

Amy's POV:
It's strange. Ever since I had that drink earlier I've been feeling...weird. But I only feel it when. I think about Sonic.. like when I really think about it I just want him to bend me over and take me right then and there..what is wrong with me?..it's getting stronger..I need to control myself. I felt uneasy. I was tugging at my clothes. Dammit. What is wrong with me. I need to find Sonic. I need him.

I looked around desperately. I could feel it packing up every minute. I'm barely able to focus. All I could think about was Sonic. Sonic. Sonic. "Maybe when I find him we can dance." I thought to myself. After all why should I play hard to get? I look around for Tails to see if he knows the whereabouts for Sonic.

"Hey guys. Do you happen to know where Sonic is?" They all look my way. "Oh hey Amy. Sonic is right over there." He pointed at the two doors by the balcony with the cup in his hand. "Okay thanks." I was about to turn and leave when I heard Manic say. "Don't get too comfy he might be with someone else out there."

He joked. I roll my eyes. "Whatever Manic." I walked to the distance. And open the doors while saying, "Hey Sonic I was thinking and I wanna take up your offer on a dance-" but I open up a door to my shock. Sonic has his lips presses against Sally's. I froze up and immediately gasped. No. This couldn't be true. Right? Am I dreaming?..

Sonic and Sally had finally broke apart and looke at me. He had his arm around her shoulder. "Sup Ames. You need something?" I stuttered a lot. "N-no I was j-just leaving." I turned my head. I tried holding back my tears. I began clenching my fists when I heard Sally say, "Oh don't be such a brat. He's always been mine. You were just too slow pinky."

I began to become angry. I was shaking my fists as she giggled at me. "First of All. You shouldn't even be talking..You are not involved." I pointed at her. "And YOU.." I dug my finger into his chest. "What is actually wrong with you?!" I scolded. "You can't just go and do this with her. What about me?!" I yelled. I heard Sally snicker which made me snap. I quickly turned around extremely angry at her.

Sonic's POV:
I felt really bad. And guilty. I didn't want to hear her like that. But, can you blame me? I mean she DID reject me earlier. What does she want?. Then it hit me. Ah. The pill is working I see. She's so adorable when she's angry~.

I immediately stopped thinking on my impulsive thoughts when I saw Amy lunging and attacking at Sally. They started fighting hardcore. They went from the balcony to the middle of the dance floor getting all the attention to themselves.

I tried getting Sally off but she kicked me hard sending me flying back into a table as I land on it. People started gasping as Tails assisted me. "Woah dude are you ok?." I cough a little bit on dust. "Don't worry about me. Worry about them!" I pointed as everyone looked.

Amy's POV:
"I've never liked you." I began to say while punching the fuck out of her face. She grabbed and pulled my hair as I slammed her to the ground. "You were always so snotty and bratty." I continued.

I was distracted for a moment as she elbowed my face causing my nose to bleed but that didn't stop me from throwing her into a chair as O began throwing more punches at her. "Oh look at me. I'm the princess. I'm soooooon royal." I mocked.

She has slammed me onto the ground once more while she took turns hitting me. "I only care about myself. I will take every chance to sleep with every guy but yet I still expect Sonic to take me back." Everyone was gasping at us. But I didn't care. I kept fighting and fighting her. At this point we're both pretty fucked up.

I suddenly felt someone breaking is up. Sonic was holding me back while Police officers picked up Sally and tossed her outside. I growled. And pushed Sonic away from me. "No! You need to calm down!" I struggled trying to escape from his grip. "Don't touch me!" I escaped from his grip and ran to the kitchen and shut the door behind me locking it. I began to feel insane. I'm so mad at him. But I want sonic. I need sonic. I want him.. I repeated.

Sonic's POV:
I reached for Amy but she was already gone. Dammit. At this point everyone was staring at me. "What?" I asked innocently. Tails smacks his face. "Chaos. They made a mess." Tails worriedly said. Rouge crossed her arms. "Oh my god. There's blood." She pointed next to all the damaged objects. God. That is a lot of blood. Holy shit. I was shocked to see the amount of blood on the floor. Shadow scratches his head. "I've seen them fight before...but no like this.."

He said worryingly. "Not to the point where there's blood..Rose would never act this way. That's not like her." He added. Heh. I know. I don't know the pill was THAT strong. "Listen guys." I put my hands together. "Why don't you guys go home. Tails you might as well and stay the night. I'm gonna need help cleaning this up." He nodded and escorted everyone else out of the penthouse.

After an hour of cleaning up we finally managed to get the area spotless. "Now you should probably check on Amy. I'm gonna head upstairs for the night." I pound my dust with his. "I'm sorry if that ruined our night. We're all proud of you buddy." He hugged me as I chuckle and pat his head.
