Chapter 3 New plans??

I got a call from Mom before I was on the road headed for anything . Mom says "Hey, I found how you could make me happy as a mother." "I thought being alive was enough." "Trust me it is not, I know you're going on a trip but I wanted you to check UCLA." "WHAT? WHY??" "I already called the Administrator to let them now you were coming." "AGAIN MOM WHY?!" "Don't raise your tone at me!" "It would be nice if you could attend college there for 2 years at least, then you can drop out or whatever." "Mom, how many times have I told I do not want to go to college!" "Jenifer you can barely pay your rent I payed for you to go to this school. At least it will get you a decent job." I groan,  She is always telling me how to live.  I know she wants best for me put she can push my boundaries sometime. I know that she means well. I want to be a singer but, I didn't want to upset my mother. So I got in my car to make a drive to UCLA. I get there very late, when I walk in no students but I see some man standing very clean cut. It was the Administrator waiting for me, I walk up to him and say "Hi, my name is Jenifer Lagoski, my mom said you were going to show me around?" "Yes that I am" he says with a very forced smile. He gives me the general tour  of the campus, my class schedule, and then all of sudden I hear people cheering and booing. He sees my puzzled face and says "There is a basketball game tonight." He walks into the gym and I see basketball players, and the cheerleaders. "It's halftime" startling me. I nod, then one of the cheerleaders walked up to us and says "We don't have a performance to do for halftime we don't got any music." His eyes widen and turns to look at me and asks "You can sing right? Can you sing for halftime ?" "Sure I can do you have any drums?" I sing 'Head above water' and everyone cheers. I take bow then I stop and look over at the cheer captain. She reminds me of someone... No it can't be... Stacy Dover? Stacy?
