Three days passed and you and Hunter have been stuck to each other's hips , hanging out every day and being more outside with people your age . You and him went to the park for lunch and hung out a lot . As for Ghost , he's been acting differently . He's been a little off edge , it's normal for him to be off edge but not like this . He's been fiddling with his fingers a lot and has been fidgety and sometimes gets nervous when seeing autumn . Whatever happened and whatever they talked about must've really put him off and you didn't like it one bit . You didn't like seeing him that way at all and you knew why.
You wanted to comfort him but you didn't know how . You figured you would call soap and the others in a Group FaceTime and you would go over with Ghost and ask him to join as well.maybe that would calm him down.
You walked over to ghost and saw that he was on the couch with Riley . You walked over slowly and you were met by his gaze .
" hey spook ."
" Hi dad ."
You walked over with your phone in hand and you sat next to Ghost . The couch dipped as you sat down and Riley rested on the other side with Ghost . you opened up your phone and you went to contacts and you made a group facetime with all your uncles .
'' c,mere .''
You moved closer to Ghost and you held the phone in front of you and him .
'' What's this ? .''
He asked curiously .
'' a group facetime with the others . ''
You smiled as you tapped the button and heard the ringing of the facetime noise .
It wants long till you saw soap and the others pop up on the screen .
'' hey spook .''
Soap said with a smile .
'' pleasure seeing you ghost .''
Gaz said .
" always ."
Ghost said back, nodding his head .
" tio soap how's Scotland ?."
" it's great over here , how's Manchester treatin ya ?."
He asked while walking around .
You saw in the background that there was a picture of him and his family and there was a photo of him with a black and white dog.
" it's great ! I have a friend and he lives right next to us and we hang out everyday ."
You said excitedly .
" Nice to know ya got friends."
Soap chuckled .
" tio Alejandro how is it ?."
" same thing Mija , just me and my fam over here in Mexico ."
Alejandro said gently .
Price sadly wasn't in call but you knew he would join again if you called later on .
" I've got to go tho so I'll FaceTime ya later ."
Soap said .
" same here ."
Gaz agreed.
" aww okay , bye guys . I miss you already ."
You frowned a bit but you knew you could always call.
" We do too spook don't worry we'll see you again."
Soap said.
" bye Mija ."
Alejandro said and left.
The others headed out of call and it soon ended and left you on the couch with Ghost and a very sleepy Riley .
" So uh ...anything special happening with you and hunter today ?."
Ghost asked while looking down at you.
" I dunno ....I've been meaning to ask you something..."
You said quietly hoping that he wouldn't get upset . It wasn't like him to get upset or angry at you but you feared questioning him sometimes.
" What's up ?."
He asked, growing a little concerned by seeing your frozen up features .
" You've been on edge lately and really nervous, what's wrong ?."
You said gently but nervously.
" just not used to being home I guess."
Him and you both new that was somewhat true but was also a cover up for something else .
" and?."
You countered .
" and it's just that I'm not good around women and your friends mother is makin it hard alright."
He said flat out .
It was somewhat true .
He knew how to love and care for someone. It's just that after what happened he built up barriers around him to protect himself from getting his heart broken again . He doesn't want you or him to be hurt in any way , physically he tries to protect you and mentally as well.
Your phone buzzed and you and ghost looked down and saw that hunter had messaged you .

Hunter : hey , was wondering if you wanted to hang out again ?

You opened up your phone and ghost watched as you tapped away on your screen .

You : sure , I gotta ask my dad tho . Can you wait on my porch for me?

Hunter : Sure !

You closed your phone and you looked above to see ghost looking down at you with his eyes narrowed a bit .
" please dad "
You said while looking at him .
" fine but I just wanna talk to him ."
" Okay but don't scare him . He's waiting on the porch so while you do that I'll be getting ready."
You spoke as you got up off the couch .
Ghost got up as well but Riley stood laying down on the couch . You ran upstairs to your room and you started to get ready .
Ghost went to the door and he opened it to see Hunter sitting on the porch stairs on his phone waiting for you . Hunter looked behind him over his shoulder when he heard the front door open .
He put his phone down next to him and he stood up quickly when he saw Ghost . Ghost closed the door behind him and he crossed his arms while towering over hunter . He gave him an intimidating look and he narrowed his eyes at hunter .
" o-oh hello sir ."
Hunter said nervously .
" I'm leaving my daughter with you , if anything happens while she's with you there will be no place you can hide from me ."
You ran downstairs wearing a red shirt with some black sweat pants and your red and black beanie. You shut the door behind you and you stood in front of ghost .
" I promise to keep her safe sir ."
Hunter's eyes lit up a bit when he saw you and he gave a small smile towards you .
" Dad, he understands, don't worry ."
You said while grabbing his shoulder gently .
Ghost grunted an affirmative and he headed inside leaving you and Hunter alone .
'' is your dad always give scares ?.''
Hunter said while looking back at the door then you .
'' pretty normal for him actually .''
You said simply .
'' wanna head to the park to play again or something ?.''
He asked sheepishly . his cheeks growing a light pink
'' sure .''
You said while walking off your porch with him and walking down the street .
It was quieter than usual and not many people were around but you liked it that way and you didn't mind it . The quiet was your home and you welcomed it with open arms .
'' so like any hobbies ?.''
Hunter asked .
'' uh fighting and makin masks ...like i said .''
You said as if he was asking a dumb question .
'' oh yeah heh .....so like favorite movie .''

Hunter said with a smile .
His smile faded when he saw three boys ahead of him .
You noticed this and stopped and grabbed him gently by his wrist .
'' you alright ?.''
You said softly , your tone laced with concern .
'' follow me .''
Hunter said quietly .
He grabbed your arm gently and crossed the street .
You wanted to ask him what's wrong but he looked panicked so you decided to wait till you were at your destination . The boys looked over and started to cross the street as well and follow behind you and hunter . hunters held onto your wrist tightly yet gently and he kept you close at his side . you looked up at him and noticed that his color started to slowly drain from him , he grew a tad but pale .
'' Hey dipshit .''
One of the boys yelled .
There was a boy with a green shirt and baggy sweatpants and a baseball cap , one with a black jean jacket and a white shirt with some baggy jeans and a black beanie and the other one with a simple scooby doo shaggy look .
You and Hunter came to a halt when the boys got closer .
'' you have our money ? looks like you've been hanging out with a broad.'
The boy in the baseball cap asked .
'' N-no ...''
Hunter said quietly .
It wasn't long till the boy in the baseball cap went to swing but you blocked him and twisted his arm causing him to fall to the floor and cry out . you pushed the boy back and stood in front of hunter .
'' oi fuck head i suggest you back up.''
You growled .
'' aww look his girlfriend thinks she can do something .''
The shaggy looking boy laughed .
Girlfriend ?
The two boys surrounded you and hunter and hunter gave you a nervous look .
The two boys came behind hunter and grabbed him by his arms, pinning him against a wall .
You acted quickly and punched the one with the baseball cap in the face and pushed him away and you ripped off the other one and swung your leg kicking him off his feet causing him to lose his balance and fall.
The shaggy boy went to take a hit but you twisted his arm behind his back and kicked him to the floor with his buddies .
'' like i said you should back up.''
You said in a stern tone .
'' alright alright ...jeez ''
The baseball boy said .
The boys lied on the floor in pain and you grabbed Hunter's hand gently walking away .
'' thanks for that ...''
Hunter said quietly .
'' don't thank me , they bully you ?.''
You asked, looking at him , still holding his hand .
'' yeah...since 6th grade ....all the way up to now''
He said nervously .
'' also where did you learn to kick ass like that ?.''
Hunter asked, a bit shocked by what you had done .
'' i'm in the military ...''
You said simply yet quietly .
" Wait really ?."
Hunter asked, a bit excited .
" You heard me the first time didn't you ?."
You said sarcastically with a smirk .
He laughed nervously while scratching the back of his neck .
After a few more minutes of walking you arrived at the park and you ran and sat in the grass .Hunter followed with you and he sat down next to you shoulder to shoulder .
" So like Any other family ?."
He asked .
" my uncles , I got about 5 of them but one passed away ."
" That's pretty cool and sorry about that one uncle."
He said sheepishly.
He was shy for some reason but you didn't question it .
" It's pretty chilly here ."
He said,
" yeah it is , also if those bullies come after you again let me know ."
You said with a smirk .
" will do ."

Time skip ——-

Hunter waved you goodbye as you walked inside your home and he knocked on his door and was met by his mother .
" did you get any information ?."
The mother questioned .
" No but she's the one we're looking for ,
They Are all military personnel."
Hunter said, walking in his hood fully while his mother closed the door .
" We only have a few months till they head back off so we need as much intel as possible about them to being to (your mothers name ) ."
Autumn said sternly .
" try to get her to trust you , maybe open up."
Autumn said .
" I will Mum ."
" Alright go get some rest , we have work tomorrow."
