a pretty shorter chapter than the last, i also didnt know what music to use so here's one of my favs.

y/n woke the next day. and just like the other day, tom was nowhere to be found.

theres no surprise there.

she decided that she wasnt going to go out today. and it fits, she has no work as well.

she then decided that she was going to clean the house and maybe give her leftover food to the homeless.

a couple of hours have gone by, and shes cleaned the bedroom, guest bedroom, bathrooms, kitchen, and dining room.

but when she came across toms office, she debated if she should clean it as well.

after considering a few things, she decided that she was.

when she entered, there were papers everywhere.

files here, files there.

there were files everywhere.

she thought for a moment, how to clean this mess?

she left the office for a bit to look for boxes or organizers and came back with a few boxes.

fortunately, the files that were scattered seemed to be in a pile.

at least his sanity is still there.

shrugging off the thought, she picked up each pile and placed them into their own boxes.

in the end, she was left with around 6 boxes.

what are these files for?

she shook her head and left to get the broom and dustpan.

but while she was sweeping, she found a ripped piece of paper and one envelope from under toms desk.

she picks it up and takes a look at the ripped paper.

"match makers ball.

tomorrow evening.

hosted by henry and hilda lyon.
12 marchmont square.

their eldest son, william lyon will be leading the first dance."

she tilts her head and takes a look at the envelope.

it is not sealed shut.

it has already been opened.

tom.

"do not forget. 12 marchmont square."

so, toms going to a ball?

well, if hes going to attend this ball, then i shall attend too.

lets see what youre hiding, riddle.
