Luke's Diner

I recently relocated to Stars Hollow in the hopes of beginning a new life and taking advantage of the numerous opportunities present. I made the choice to go to Luke's Coffee Shop first thing in the morning. Luke has long been one of my closest friends, and he was a major factor in my decision to move to Stars Hollow.

 Luke welcomes me as I enter the diner. "Coffee?" he questioned. "You've got it," I replied. I sat next to Luke at the counter and watched as he brewed a pot of his renowed coffee. I lingered to talk for a while and observed as a woman with deep blue eyes and an infectious smile walked into the diner. She approached where I was sitting and began speaking to Luke. I couldn't help but turn to look at her. She seemed as if she were out of a dream, and I felt enthralled by her presence. Her wit and involvement made the conversation flow effortlessly, and soon I found myself joining in. The woman asked how I had known Luke, and I began to tell her our story, including how we had met and how close we had become. She listened intently and nodded as I spoke, showing genuine interest in what I had to say. As we conversed, I caught a fleeting glimpse of her brillant blue eyes, which had me spellbound. 

We said our goodbyes and wished her a good day after she informed us that she had to leave, seeing as she would be late for work. I caught Luke giving me a smile as she walked away. "I noticed how you were looking at Lorelia, do you like her?". "NO!" I exclaimed. That, however, was a fabrication. I said goodbye to Luke and hoped to run into Lorelai again someday as I walked out of his diner. Deep down, I was glad that Luke noticed my subtle attraction to Lorelai.
