Love at first fall.

Never in my whole eighteen years of living, did I think I was going to be attracted to a red bearded , muscular ,mountain of a man. But here I was. Standing in West Mount coffee shop with a stained apron on, hair in a messy bun , drooling openly for all humanity to see.
It's my first day at the Café. Mike, the owner, hired me two days ago. I moved here earlier this week. This town is small and nobody ever comes here ,unless they are crazy and not well in the head. I am crazy and not well in the head, I reminded myself. The school year ended. I was finally done. My parents was on a trip to Africa. I live with my best friend,Jess for now. She has a tidy flat near the coffee shop. That made it easy for me to work here, seeing as though I don't have a car yet.
I brushed my black hair behind my ear. The red bearded man stood outside the Café talking on the phone. I forced my attention back to the lady who's still deciding what she wants from the menu. I keep glancing over to red beard. He just entered the shop! Oh my gosh! My knees went weak.
Fist of all, I don't usually fall that easily for men. I've been in two relationships before and let's just say they didn't end well. Not for me nor the guy. So this whole thing is just a no for me.
Secondly I'm usually not attracted to any form of high testosterone, given the fact that most men with high levels of it are grumpy and needy. This red bearded man was loaded with it.
And finally, what is wrong with me for pointing out that red beard goes to the gym often? I go to the gym often. Why do I find this man's muscularity attractive? I see men who is built well every day. Why does this man stand out from the rest? Why do I find him intimidating? Why am I asking so many questions?!
I took my notebook and confirmed the order I just collected. In the corner of my eye ,I can see the beast sitting at the far right corner of the café. GREAT. One of my tables.
I tried to walk like a normal human ,but for some reason it felt like my walk resembled that of a giraffes'.
The Beast looked up when I arrived at his table. My table. Why am I so competitive about who's table it is now that he is sitting by it?  He gave me a small grin that made me think he was aware of my giraffe looking legs.
"Welcome at West Mount's finest  café." I heard the words escape my mouth. It sounded dry and cringy. I cleared my throat. "I am Nova, your waiter. What would you like to order ,Sir?,"
Urgh! I sounded like a desperate school girl. He stared at me. I could feel his lazer eyes burn holes through my skin. Then he finally looked down at the menu. He was as hairy as The Beast from Beauty and the Beast. I wanted to giggle.
"Uhm...,I would like an expresso please." He finalized in a deep voice that made my giraffe-like legs feel like jelly. I wrote it down in my scribbly handwriting. "Would that be all?" I asked. "Yes, thank you," he said looking at my hair this time."Great! Your order will be here in ten," I replied.
I made my way to the counter where my friend, Jess was making a milkshake. I gave the order to Mike the coffee expert and sighted. "What was that all about?" Jess asked, pointing to Beast. Yep I'm making Beast a thing, I decided. "I don't know. Does my hair look okay? He just ordered an expresso and I think I made a fool out of myself by walking like some animal." I said and sat on the bar stool. "Nove, you are litterally five foot one. If anyone here looks like an animal, it's him. Besides, I don't even know the guy. He must be new in town. And besides, you are way too pretty to date such a man and your hair is gorgeous today."
Why does Jess always have to be so nice! She is litterally made out of sun and flowers and bees and picnics. Her strawberry blonde hair always curled and tied in a neat ponytail behind her head with a bow. Her sundress is the only colour in this black and white café. The walls was painted a light grey ,where as the floor was black wood and the ceiling a dark grey with white fairy lights all over. The tables was clothed with a darker, blueish grey and the chairs was matching the walls. There was plants all over the place , hanging from the ceiling and walls, making it look like people came here to hunt for coffee beans ,rather to drink coffee and eat a meal.
"Well, I don't think he will stay long. Nobody has ever visited for more than a week." I said. Mike handed me my orders and I made my way to The Beast. He was busy taking notes or something from his laptop. He doesn't seem older than twenty one if you take the red beard away. His forest-green eyes met mine and a shiver went down my spine. I placed his expresso on the table.
"Thank you,Nova." He said. I nodded. I then went back to the counter.
As I make my way to Jess and Mike, my feet decided to tangle themselves in a knot. I started to lean forward. I tried to unknot my feet but instead I stumble foreward and hit the ground. Everything was black and the fairy lights started to look like stars.
"Nova!? Oh my gosh, I think she's dead!,"
   Who's dead?
"Nobody dies that fast, Jess. Calm down!,"
  I'm not dead!
"Do you have an ice pack?,"
   An ice pack?
The next moment a hand touched my head. A big hand. Then coldness burst through my head.
"What the....?" I croaked.
"You're alright!" I heard Jess say. I looked around and three sets of eyes looked down at me. Jess, Mike and... and Beast?
