A QUEEN BEE

Raven

I placed baby Ruby in her crib. Her small nose starting to get a little red and I wonder if she had cought a cold after all. I kiss the top of her head and whisper "nighty night pretty baby."

The livingroom is brightened by the red sunset. The house is so quiet. My thoughts are running wild. Ever since the accident, I avoid the thought of her. But tonight she is swarming in my head like angry bees in a burning hive. Her filthy blonde hair and her brown wicked eyes. I hate her. I hate what she did to me and I hate, especially, what she did to her own daughter.
I try to get my mind of her. To erase the memory of her. But she's sticky like honey in hair.
I turned on the television with the hope that she will flee from my mind. Stranger Things was recommended so I selected and started whatching.

"Baby?... Raven. Are you awake?", a sweet angelic voice whispered.
"Raven, honey,"
It's getting louder.
"RaVeN WAKE UP!"
"SON OF A BITCH! WAKE THE FUCK UP!"
The screeching voice janked me off the couch.
I open my eyes and goosebumps cover my skin.
I look around pensively. No one's there. I sat up on the floor reaching for my phone on the glass coffee table. A message lightens up the room as my phone turns on.

You are a liar! You will pay for what you've done. She's MINE. You are such a fuckhead if you'd even just think you could take her away from me like that! Brandy and the others are coming for you and you better be prepared because  SHIT IS GONNA GO DOWN YOU SON OF A BITCH!

My head  aches. I straightened myself out on the couch again and close my eyes. The stinging in my head can't compare to the stinging in my heart.  These bees  wont go away. Not unless the queen is killed.
