He Loves Her

Another day in school.

As usual, Y/n was still a little concerned with the relationship he held with Yame for quite awhile. They've been dating for a month and she still hasn't figured out the truth.

Well, she knew half of it but didn't know that the letter did not belong to him.

Everything was flying at him, thoughts and insecurities of this relationship, how fast she accepted his "feelings" and if someone like her should be with someone who's only good at judo.

He was too busy lost in thought, walking hand in hand with Yame when,

"Yame?"

Someone calls her from behind. The two turns, one of them gasps. "Dai?!" She smiled brightly, letting go of Y/n's hand and hugged the boy named Dai. "How are you? It's been awhile!"

"It has!"

The two proceeded to talk, smile, and caught up with their lives as Y/n who stood by walks next to her. "Yame, who's this?"

She turns to him with a smile. "This is Dai! We used to date in middle school!" Yame explains as his eyes widens.

"You never told me you had an ex..."

"Well, it's been awhile... and we kind of had a disagreement that lead us to splitting..."

"Really?"

"Yeah..."

"Yame?" Dai finally chips in. "Who's he?"

Yame smiled brightly and hugged Y/n's arm. "This is Y/n! He's my boyfriend!"

For a moment, Dai flinched softly but quickly hit it with a wide smile. "Is that so? I assume you're taking care of her very dearly?"

"Of course he is! He's very protective of me!~" Yame pinches his cheek playfully, leading him to blush mildly and laughing at his embarrassed expression. "Aww, someone's blushing!~"

Y/n turns away a bit as Dai laughs gently. "I see, I see... Well, I'll leave you love birds alone for now..." he bows to them briefly before leaving them alone in the hallway. The h/c turns to the gyaru, "He seems very nice..."

"He is..."

"..."

"So why did you break up with him?"

Yame turns to Y/n for a moment and sighed softly. "...I told him to stop acting so friendly with girls... I mean, I get he has to talk to them but flirting and getting close?"

He sees her clenching her fists before putting a hand on her shoulder. "Hey... It's okay... It's in the past, let's forget about it if it's bothering you a lot..."

She turns to Y/n with a soft expression before smiling and hugging his arm. "You're right... We must focus on now... I must focus on my new boyfriend who I love a lot!" She says confidently as she leads Y/n through the hallway of their school and towards their classroom.
