Happy First Anniversary, Record of Love.
"Babe," I called out, trying to reach her waist as she sighed and gathered her belongings. I was left in confusion as I watched her do her things.
Jane looks at me with a hurried look. "Not now, I'm sorry! I have some papers to send to the faculty; let's catch up later, okay? That's fine, right?" She asked with her shaking look, tracing me, and I couldn't help but nod. "Good! I'll see you later, baby! Love you!" She said and give me a kiss.
My lips tried to follow hers, but she pulled away and immediately ran towards the glass door. I watched my girlfriend go as she hastily went to her car. Just like that, I was abandoned... on our supposed date because graduation is approaching and she's running for highest achiever.
"Anyare d'yan be?" Rinig kong bulong ni Lexus kay Tyrone na nakakandong sa kan'ya.

My eyes rolled with his words. "Stop pertaining her as Kyron's cousin, Ash. She's my girlfriend," I firmly told him.
Naglakad ako palapit kanila Lexus at hinila si Lexus. He's been hugging Tyrone for a whole ass hour, and it's hurting my eyes to watch them do that.
"Kaya nga, 'wag ganon." Gatong ni Lexus at pinulupot ang kamay ko sa bewang niya. "Tignan mo tuloy, yinakap ako tapos iiyak na. Shh... H'wag kana umiyak, okay lang 'yan. Mahal ka no'n."
"Tangina mo talaga, Lex," bulong ko pero hindi tinanggal ang pagkayakap sa kan'ya.
This is not new to me. Hugging Lexus is one of the things that are normal to us. Sometimes some people tend to speculate that he is gay or that we're gay when, in fact, we're not. All of us are straight. We're just comfortable with physical contact like a kiss on the cheek or hugging because of Lexus. He likes this stuff, so we let him do it to us.
"Busy kasi si Jane, miss ko na s'ya," bulong ko pero halatang rinig nila dahil humila na ng upuan si Kyron sa tabi ni Ashton.
Kyron pushed a glass of water next to me. "She's busy, Lax." Agad akong napasiring sa sinagot ni Kyron.
"Eh ba't ikaw hindi?" Balik kong tanong sa kan'ya bago tumungga sa nilapit na baso ni Tyrone sa 'kin.
Kitang-kita ko kung pano inis na umikot ang mata ni Kyron at kumain ng isang pirasong ubas. "I gave up running for the highest achiever, Lax. Besides, Jane ended her junior high as one, and I don't stand a chance against my cousin. Your girlfriend is just too intelligent."
Ngumiti ako at kinagat ang labi para pigilan ang paglabas no'n nang marinig ang sinabi ni Tyrone.
"Kilig betlog ni Alvarez." Inis akong napapikit nang tumama ang ubas sa muka ko dahil sa paghagis ni Tyrone.
