CHAPTER 8

Consort Taehyung was walking back and forth in the palace, he can't stay still. Well, about their meet-up with King Jungkook earlier, you could say it did end well, they have their little talks about the Kingdom.

FlASHBACK:

"T-thank you so much" consort Taehyung can't believe that he stuttered.

"My pleasure, please wear that necklace everytime, in that, everyone will know that Consort Taehyung only belongs to King Jungkook." The King stated firmly and possessively, jungkook doesn't even know why he said that but he just did.

Consort Taehyung gulped, feeling a weird tingling sensation in his stomach. King Jungkook saying that sentence while confidently having an eye contact with him... Taehyung would gladly bend and kneel down infront of his King, right now.

"That's wild Kim Taehyung, what the fuck" the consort's thoughts

"Will do, my King" Consort Taehyung uttered and bowed respectfully and innocently, as if he didn't made the King blushed.

King Jungkook looked away, he's taken a back of what his Consort had said. His ears turned red, he can't even looked straight at his Consort infront of him who's smiling, innocently. Taehyung bit his inner cheeks, feeling giddy.

"Y-yeah... thank you so much, my Consort" said King Jungkook who has a serious face, but he's smiling crazy on the inside.

And with that, Consort Taehyung proceed to asked the King a few questions about its Kingdom.

If you're wondering why the consort was walking back and forth, it's because he received a letter from his new servant that his majesties will visit tomorrow, he's nervous. He kept fidgeting his fingers. How can he talked to his King that they need to act, they barely even talked to each other, he's stressed.

He suddenly heard a loud voice coming through the hallways in the palace, shouting his name, taehyung knows damn well who's voice is that.

"SOULIE!!"

Taehyung immediately saw his dearest friend approaching to him.

"Chim!! How on earth you get in here?" Consort Taehyung asked

"Your husband let me in!! Bestie forgot his bffs famous hmph" Jimin sulked

Taehyung laugh, he understood jimin's slang language but not everytime.

"Come on, don't be dramatic. Is yoongi hyung with you?" Taehyung asked since jimin is holding a rose

"Yeppie! He's talking with your husband, i didn't even know that they're childhood friends, so ridiculous" Jimin rants and rolled his eyes

"Anyways, are there some kind of any uhmm you know... progress?" Jimin asked with his teasing smile

"Tsk, no progress at all. It's just a contract, chim, why would we have some progress" Taehyung replied, chuckling

"Oh come on!! This marriage is forever, taeh." Jimin said

"I know and that's the problem. Why are we even talking about that, let's just talk about something else!" Taehyung said

With that, both friends went to jungkook's new chamber which is also taehyung's (new) chamber, to gossip. The King barely even went inside the chamber because he knows his Consort will spend the rest of his time inside reading a book and King Jungkook doesn't want to disturb him, plus it would be so awkward.

After Jimin left, the consort went outside to roamed around the palace. While roaming, he heard two servants talking to each other, taehyung didn't mean to eavesdrop but he just did.

"You liked her! Don't deny it"

"Fuck, fine! You're such a gossip bitch"

"Hahahaha, i knew it! You're bitting your inner cheeks while talking to her, Jeon Halcyon Kingdom's body signs never lies"

"Yeah yeah, i know, fuck off!"

As what The Consort had heard, he really believes that this Kingdom he's ruling, is unique. Basically, bitting your inner cheeks while talking to a person, means you romantically like them, in Jeon Halcyon Kingdom's only tho.

Suddenly, Consort Taehyung remembered something and he widen his eyes in horror.
