Alex was in terrible condition as he had gained a severe fever and wasn't able to eat anything at all as he continued to throw up his empty stomach
His cannibal cell-mate Miles Kyle was worried you see everyone was actually worried for the young killer Alex had grown on them all
"Alex Adams?" A guard asked from the other side of the metal door
"W-what..." Alex mumbled from the toilet where his head rested due to throwing up so much and being overly tried and exhausted
"Someone's here to see you do you think you can make it to the meeting cells?" The guard asked as he opened the door and looked at Alex who simple shook his head
"I'll tell them your not able to see them today get better kid" the guard said as he left but left a bottle of water while leaving
Alex looked at it and ended up throwing up again just thinking about drinking anything makes him sick
And the worst part is that the team is probably the one that wanted to see him
What a shameBut with the little bit of strength he had left he got up and screamed for the guard who hadn't gone to far
"Hey!" Alex yelled through the door
The guard looked back and came back to see Alex standing but wobbling"I want to see them it's the team right?" Alex asked as he stared at the guard who nodded
"Alright I'll see them but it's going to be rough on me" Alex said as he exited the cell with the guard and headed to the meeting cell
Once he got there he sat down on the rough metal chair and stared at them from the other side of the table
"We just want to say thank you mr Adams for You cooperation and help on the case we had successfully captured the unsubs and put them in custody thank you" hotch said as he sat there with his hands folded in together
"If there's ever anything you want as a reward tell them to message us and we'll rearrange a meeting time and place" hotch said finishing his speech
"Glad to hear i could be of help to you i guess" Alex mumbled as he set his head on the table waiting to leave now
"Mr Adams are you feeling Well?" Hotch asked as he raised an eyebrow
"Just peachy" Alex mumbled into his hands and
arms"You don't seem to you look unhealthily pale and think have you been eating at all?" Hitch asked profiling Alex who lifted his head and glared at him angrily "don't you profile me agent Hotchner" Alex said as he stood but then ended up collapsing as hotch caught him
"Your clearly not Well let me help you" hotch said as he lifted the boy up into his arms as Alex started going numb again and his brain going fuzzy slowly his eyes shut
Hotch quickly noticed and branch him to the hospital and getting him in for treatment only with a bit of difficulties like the guards not agreeing at first and the doctors not liking the idea of treating a criminal but eventually they got to work diagnosis him and getting treatment for him
Alex stayed passed out the entire time
Eventually he was treated "properly" after he woke up and then sent back to his cell with hotch saying goodbye and that he'd be in touch if ever needed
What a joke is all Alex thought as he laid down in his bed as his cell-mate Miles was worried for his friend like roommate
"I'm alright miles I'll be fine don't worry" Alex mumbled as miles continued to watch him
"I don't believe you I'm sorry to say my friend you look terrible and ready to drop dead" miles said as he sat down next to Alex who stayed sill and didn't seem to be moving
"Alex?" Miles asked as he poked him
Miles knew Alex was sensitive and would wake up instantly to that
Alex didn't move
"Alex?"
He shakes him again
His breathing was almost gone
"Alex!?"
He shook him harder
"Alex!!"He shook him as hard as he could
His breath was gone
He wasn't breathing
Miles held him in his arms and wouldn't let go
The guards came
They took him away as miles cried for the first time in so longThe others heard and comforted him as they all sat in loss as their youngest friend had passed away
They later learned it was because of false treatment
Hospitals are shit they all thoughtThe team later learned of the loss and we're in a state of disbelief as they learned Alex Adams had died because of a false treatment and a overdoes of said treatment
He could've lived if they hadn't given him the wrong
treatmentIt was on purpose
Later on the team talked to the hospital and arrested the doctor in charge of Alex's treatment plan he was sentence to 20 years in prison due to murder of a criminal
It would've been life in prison if it wasn't for the fact that Alex was a criminal
There was two funerals held for Alex one for the criminals in the prison and one for the people who actually cared
During the prison funeral the criminals all attended even some of the guards wore black for Alex and they watched a video of the actual funeral most of them held their heads in bow until the video finished and then they all took a moment of silence and were soon sent to their cells
During the funeral in the field where his body was buried right next to the weeping willow tree that seemed to weep even more for the lost of the 19 year old child like character
The team took turns saying words of peace for Alex who was right next to the willow tree listening
His soul remainder and listens to the words said about him as a figure stood next to him
It was death that stood next to him and listens with him as they said their words that seemed to mean much more then he thought they would
"People still care young Alex" death spoke quietly to Alex who had gained years in his eyes as he learned that today
"Wanna here a interesting fact about yourself
Alex?" Death asked as his black lidless eyes stared at him as he nodded his eyes as he wiped is eyes away from any tears"This was your destiny to do something this great the gods thought you were simply just an empty she'll destined for nothing but i knew you would do something good with your life" Death said as he hugged the young child that was once 19 but was now 8
"An empty shell?"
