Koa's PoV
I ran in, with my rifle I saw the jealous guy dead two ropes on the ground "how fun of you to join this party Koa"

Fernando of course
I turned to my side aiming the rifle at him and saw Madrigal filled with blood with a knife sticking out her stomach

I shot him repeatedly without stopping seeing he was also shot and sliced by her brave of her to attack but also stupid

For having no training and doing it alone I went back to her as Nino took the last shot she was pale and cold

She looked drained and dead. I checked for a pulse thankfully she still had one but it was getting weaker by the second

We took her to the nearest hospital and they took her to the emergency room

After what was like five hours they told us they couldn't succeed she had past away but I couldn't believe it

No way, she's stronger than that so I yelled I kept yelling demanding them to bring her back I can't lose her

Not now, not when I just started liking her I don't care that I admit it now all I want is for her to come back

They took her out the emergency room and took her to a normal room and just kept reviving her to wake up back

But she wouldn't they tried everything but she wouldn't wake up and punched the wall not only did I lose my family to them but I lost her

Her friends ran in and they busted into tears they looked at me and started swearing and cursing at me which I don't blame them

If I never met her she'd still be alive

Colombia

Drinking my whiskey leaning back on my seat in my office speaking about the plans over what to do with the Marci's

We killed one of them so they'll obviously start a war now but I'll bring the devil out for killing the one person I began to like

Her brother and friends suffered a lot I found out why she didn't want to speak about her family they were also killed by them

For the same matter how we met she didn't know who I was and her father didn't know who he was I saw my phone ring I looked at the caller ID

The hospital?
I picked up the call and they told me since I left they kept trying to bring her back

And eventually she did which was this morning but they could only tell me now because they had to run a few tests

She asked about me and about everybody so she didn't get memory lose I sighed but would she still want to be around us knowing that happened

And it could happen again,

"Alright I'll be there"
I took the private plane and ordered them to fly to Italy

I drove to the hospital and ran to her room slowly opening the door she looked at me I stopped and looked at her

"What, you think I'll get hurt by standing next to you?" She's definitely back I stepped in the room closing the door

She was all bandaged but she still held a smile like nothing happened "do you remember what happened?"

"Oh me being kidnapped and close to death yeah"
"No sugar"
She looked at me confused
"You died..."

She chuckled
"If I died then this isn't real"
"I ordered and yelled at everyone to bring you back that's how you're still here"

"Hm"
"How long have I been out?"
"4 years"

"I've got to say your brave and stupid yet impressed me"
She smiled "well, I'll do anything to keep myself alive"

"How's the resort?" She asked
"I've been helping out with your friends and brother oh he got married and had a baby boy his name is Gordon"

She smiled
"How have you been..." she asked
"So fucking stressed, frustrated, angry, mad and lonely"

She looked at me confused
"Lonely? How you have so many people"
"Madrigal.."

"Hm"
"You win, break my heart"
Her eyes widened "You remembered?"

I nodded
"Wait, so you like me?"
I sighed "unfortunately"

"I can't like you but I do, I can't bring you into my world but the more you're around me the more danger you're in"

"Can I ask you something?" She asked I hummed
"If you like me...have you been around with other women?"

I shook my head
"I've kept my distance"
"Madrigal, although I want you to come with me don't you'd probably end up like this or worse"

She rolled her eyes
"Koa, that's my choice to make and plus you've got to break my heart as well"

I looked into her eyes she smiled
"Stupid, don't you understand I like you unfortunately"

I sat down on the chair
"Who wouldn't" I said smirking and she laughed
