I already talked about how Terry was found in a forest and adopted- but I think I basically said nothing about Tyrus' edgy backstory yet- so like- here ya go:
So- Terry actually comes from a cult. Yeah-. (Don't ask me why- but when I was younger I had a weird obsession with the idea of cults being a real thing-- don't cancel me please i was 12-----) anyways, Terry's dad really didn't like Terry because of Terry being a hybrid and locked him up in a room with the only thing in it being a scratchy carpet and a window that Terry wasn't allowed to open- so then his mom took Terry out of there and left him in the woods near Adrian and Tabbys' house where Kat eventually found him hiding behind a tree and then Terry gets adopted- yippie--
For Tyrus it's a little bit different- so, Tyrus was created in a lab- and he's a mix of every species that like- exists in this silly little Universe- Tyrus was specially designed to protect others.--- He basically lives his entire life in the lab until he's instructed to go and protect Terry after some really dangerous stuff that went down with a monster and like- there was a lot going on.
Tyrus gets there- and is let in by Adrian. Tyrus acts all cold and professional at first but after his 'epik frenemy arc' with Terry is over they actually become friends and I really liked writing that part in the actual story-- so like- yeah. . And then after a few years they like- are gay together- like- slay ig
