Chapter 4

5 Hours before the party

I was at the saloon with mum to do my hair and makeup, the saloon was already packed with many she-wolves doing themselves. Luckily we found a place and tonight I was determined that no one absolutely no one is going to bully me.

My hair was done, makeup done and my outfit was picked. I headed back home and logged into facebook to check any new updates and then to watch some YouTube videos. I was a big fan of makeup videos. Someday I hope to make my own videos.

While I was busy watching Katleen Lights, a makeup artist doing spring makeup, I felt the air in the room changed suddenly. It felt like someone was there. I turned around to see but no one. It was weird and strange. I continue watching the videos trying to pass the uneasy feeling I had.

The hours just dragged by till it was time to leave. I was all set.Hoping tonight was going to change everything.

At the party

"Bellllaaaa, bitch why are you so gorgeous," my best friend screamed at my ears. I turned and hugged her. Ally looked beautiful as well. Like me she had not found her mate yet. But I know she will,after all she is the alpha's daugher.

My thoughts were interrupted with the Alpha Raquel announcement. His voice boomed the speakers. " Hello and welcome everyone to the annual mating party, the finest wolves and finest pack leaders. I welcome you all. Please enjoy your feast and lets wait for the countdown to midnight".

In case you are wondering why midnight, that's when the red moon appears. It only last for a few minutes, but it is believed to me so powerful then any wolf can find their mates during that time. Any spells can be caste or broken and a wolfs get special strength.

The countdown was about to begin. I had not seen Nate yet at the party but I was sure he was here. I wanted to see him while the red moon changes, curious to know who his mate was. I know that I have no way of finding mine, since I had no wolf to guide me.
