The soft murmurs of students echoed throughout school when she entered the hallway. A normal kind of everyday thing. Isabella felt her every step on the smooth shiny tile of the school. She walked towards her locker to get her binders. 3.14.12. Numbers that she saw every morning, turning to them with no hesitation on the lock. After getting into a wrestle with the binders, trying to get them into her bag, she headed towards the door to where the benches were.

Pulling out her black and white folder with intricate designs dancing on the cover, she started writing her letters. Isabella wrote out how she felt towards to the people she loved, liked or hated. Every letter had some kind of meaning to her. She had started when the incident happened. Taking out her black ball point pen, she began her form of meditation.

"Bella, how are you today?" He said as he sat down next to her. She shrugged her shoulders as a reply. Isabella started to put away her letters, when his hand grabbed onto one of them.

"When do I get to read one of them?" Nathan asked.

"You will read one of them one day. When I'm ready." Isabella whispers quietly to him. He nods, not happy with the answer, but understood. They just sat there in silence; as she listened to her soft mellow music, he listened to his alternative screamo music. She doodled, he sketched. Until the bell rang.

"See you at lunch." Nathan said, hugged her tightly before they parted. She dragged her feet up the stairs, students pushing each other as the race to class ensued. After reaching her first class, she sat down in her seat. Taking out her binder, pens, headphones and phone. Isabella was all set for the horrendous repetitive school day.

When she got out of history class, Isabella started to walk towards her lunch spot. Her friends were already there. Isabella sat in a seat right between Jasmine and Nathan. She took her bag off her shoulder, setting it aside on the seat. With her headphones plugged in, she chose her playlist of choice, and began to hear the comfort of alternative rock melodies. Their voices were clearly heard, but fuzzed up in her mind playing like background music. Nathan and Jasmine tried to include her in the conversations, but it was no use. She was already off of this world and sleeping on the moon. Isabella had her head down on the table, with her skin soaking in the sun.

Isabella lifted her head up, after the internal turmoil subsided. She joined into the conversation and smiled along, but they never reached her eyes. After the bell rang, Nathan had left first to go talk to someone. Stretching, Isabella reached for her bag but it seemed to be gone. She frantically searched around for her bag around the table. When she saw Nathan's back towards her on the other side of the courtyard she ran to go ask him. That's when she froze. When she saw what were in his hands, she ran towards him. Her private folder and bag were in his hands.

"What the hell is wrong with you? I told you no one could ever read that!" Anger spurted out of her mouth. She couldn't believe he betrayed her. Him. The boy that knew everything about her life. Her secrets. Isabella felt short of breath and weak in her knees. His grasp on them became loose, she took her chance.

"Bella let me explain!" Nathan exclaimed. Isabella grabbed the folder tightly to her chest, tears threatening to spill onto her cheeks. She tried to figure out what her next move would be. She turned around, not facing him. The late bell for class rang. Isabella just stood there, waiting for his response.

"Bella...I don't know how to say this." Nathan's voice cracking at the end.

"Then don't." Isabella's voice said, with hurt and sadness. She walked away slowly from him. Step by step towards the benches, she counted. No call for her, no sounds of footsteps coming towards her. Isabella grabbed her bag and walked towards the bathroom. Only to be shoved by Ariana. The girl that stabbed her in the back.

"Looks like you've gained five pounds the last time I saw you. And that was yesterday. Pathetic." Ariana snorted. Isabella, tired of all the pain, shoved past the bitch. All the betrayal and pain that she had felt today made her feel detestable against school, friends and especially herself.

Isabella wiped her tears from her eyes and walked out of a bathroom stall. She walked to the bathroom mirror and tried to conceal the redness with makeup but it was slightly obvious with her puffed up eyes. Putting on a fake smile, she entered the classroom to her classmates. Sat in her seat, preparing herself for a mind torturing class.

When the last dismissal bell rang, Isabella waited for Jasmine and Tori to walk out with her. Waving bye to the girls when they left to the buses, she started to walk to the school's garden. Sitting on one of the benches, she took out her book and began to read.

A pair of sneakers appeared in front of Isabella. Looking up, Isabella saw that it was Nathan. They just stared at each other, only silence was heard.

"Can I sit?"

"Sure." Isabella whispered.

"How are you?"

"Okay."

"Now how do you really feel?"

"Tired." Nathan tried to hug Isabella but she pulled away. She stood up, book in hand and anger in her eyes.

"You betrayed me Nathan. Don't touch me."

"Look, I'm sorry! Okay? I'm really sorry."

"Well that means nothing to me!" Isabella's voice getting louder with every word she said.

"Look at what you did to me today! I relapsed. Okay? I relapsed." Then Isabella's word getting quieter as she continued on. Nathan stood speechless. Various emotions raced through his face. Sadness. Anger. Regret. Pain. Hurt. All in span of 30 seconds. She grabbed her bag, stuffing her book in her bag and ran away for him.

What Isabella didn't see coming changed her whole life in seconds. Isabella ran across the street, not looking. She stood still, when she saw a black large shadow coming towards her. Standing in the middle of the road, she stood. Waiting for impact to hit her, she heard Nathan yell her name. She waited, closed her eyes and whispered 'Bye' to herself. Excruciating pain was administered throughout her body. Isabella felt it for a few more seconds and blacked out but, not before hearing the cries of a familiar male voice.
